How we have missed this mayhem.

Wrexham were so good in that first half, they deserved their lead, given to them by Josh Windass' penalty after Kieffer Moore was shoved over in the box. They might have had more goals too, with Windass hitting the bar and a couple of other chances going close.

Saints woke up late in the first half, with Jay Robinson hitting the post, but although they dominated the ball and territory in the second half, Wrexham still had the better chances, Lewis O'Brien unable to convert when racing clear and Ryan Hardie being denied by a crucial fingertip save by Gavin Bazunu.

In the end it was Ryan Manning who changed the tide for Will Still, sent on with 18 minutes to go, curling a gorgeous 25-yard free-kick in to equalise with seconds of normal time to play and then rolling across the box for Jack Stephens to slam home the winner in the 96th minute.

If this is anything to go by, this might well turn out to be the best Championship season of all time.

What an impact Ryan Manning has had.

Big shout for a penalty and it looks as though Thomas Kaminski has got away with one there.

The Charlton keeper and Nestory Irankunda are in a footrace for a ball on the right side of the Addicks area and the striker wins it and crosses.

Kaminski is committed to the challenge and brings him down.

It's all Saints now. They have won a couple of corners, but can they make them count?

Cameron Archer can't quite stretch his neck muscles enough to get a decisive touch on a looping header in the box and the ball drifts wide for a goal-kick.

Southampton need to move the ball a little bit quicker and try and stretch Wrexham because they are so tired now.

It's been one way traffic but it's just that slowness on the ball but we have done all we can to get that second goal.

Robert Apter picks up the ball on the right front edge and dances across just outside the 18 yard area looking for an opening.

His has a go but his curling effort from 20 yards just fizzes over the upright.

The temperature was hot anyway but it's gone up a notch...

James McClean is penalised for a barge on Ryan Fraser and Saints have a free-kick and he has a caution.

They think they can turn it around in stoppage-time... and they might yet. We're into the six added minutes.

How crucial could that be?

Long throw from the right from Watford causes panic in the six yard area as Kayne Ramsay fluffs his first attempt to clear.

Fortunately for him the ball sticks beneath his feet and he hacks away with no Watford striker pressing.

He gets a big pat on his back from Egil Selvik for his efforts.

It's a bit panicky from Southampton. You need quality in front of goal because you never score if you panic.

Wrexham fans are loving their new keeper.

Singing debutant Danny Ward's name as he comes off his line to claim a long throw into the mixer and relieve the pressure on his backline, for a moment at least.

Kevin Keben gives away a needless free kick on Watford's right flank, nudging Josh Edwards in the back as he shepherded the ball out.

It comes to nothing as Watford clear but that was Edwards' final contribution as he is repalced by Macauley Gillesphey.

Tyreese Campbell's race is run as well as he gives way for Harvey Knibbs.

Just a shade over five minutes to play.

We're heading towards a first goalless draw between these two sides since October 2010.
