Sean Dyche has had a big hug with Ruben Amorim before kick-off.
In May, the new Nottingham Forest boss said he would get better results as Manchester United manager than Amorim just by playing a 4-4-2 system.
He was squirming a bit on Thursday when he was asked about it but Dyche doesn't seem to have made an enemy of Amorim, who greeted him warmly.

With a four-point lead at the top of the Premier League and rivals Liverpool and Manchester City struggling to keep the pace, many are tipping Arsenal to win the title for the first time since 2004.
But winger Bukayo Saka says it is premature to speak of the Gunners as favourites for the title.
Asked whether this season feels different to others previously when Arsenal narrowly missed out on a trophy, England international Saka told Football Focus: "It's still early.
"I think when I turn my TV on - obviously I got injured early in the season - it was maybe the third game and people were already talking about titles.
"We're still only in October. We just have to keep working, keep winning games, keep building momentum and see where it leaves us towards the back end of the season."

It's Sean Dyche's first Premier League home game as Nottingham Forest manager.
He made a winning start to his tenure in the Europa League against FC Porto but last Sunday only brought disappointment and defeat at Bournemouth.
Forest have not won since the opening weekend, have not picked up a point since 20 September and are now onto their third manager following the exits of Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou.
Dyche knows he has a tough task - and he is aware having the fans behind him at what can be one of the most atmospheric grounds in the Premier League can only help.
"The atmosphere in our last home game was truly special and we can only thank you for that," he explains in his programme notes.
"To have the City Ground bursting with noise only shows how special our club is and underlines how lucky we are to have you backing us every week."

Marco Silva was probably the angriest of all the managers at the end of the transfer window because he didn't get given the tools he wanted. That leads to ramifications for the mood inside the camp.
I thought it was very interesting that Marco Silva's name suddenly leapt out and was linked with the Nottingham Forest job when that was available. That normally happens for a reason. Someone around the manager wants his name to be linked with that job.
For what it's worth I think Fulham will be fine, they have got enough quality and a good manager to stay out of trouble. But this season is not going to plan.

They are words that felt so far away in the early weeks of the season, when Manchester United were humiliated at League Two Grimsby and badly beaten at Manchester City and Brentford.
But second is the prize for United if they win at the City Ground.
It might only be for a couple of hours given Tottenham are involved in the evening game but what a target to aim for. United have not been that high in the table - except on the opening day last season when they played before anyone else - since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's time in charge.

Totally agree with Gavin (14.22). Wolves also seem to have a different captain for nearly every game. The club seems so disjointed at the moment which is a recipe for relegation.

"Can we play you every week?" spread around the away end as Crystal Palace beat Liverpool for the third time in three months earlier this week.
Oliver Glasner's side put three past the out-of-form Reds at Anfield to book a tie against Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup.
The biggest compliment you can pay to Glasner and his side is that the victory - and the manner of it - wasn't much of a surprise.
But they face an in-form Brentford at Selhurst Park today, and the Keith Andrews' side are flying after another impressive week.
After beating Liverpool in the league last weekend, the Bees put five past Grimsby in the EFL Cup.
Their reward? A trip to Man City in the next round.

Man United are on a really good run. They've got to keep it going. I think its too early to say they're back but they're certainly playing with more freedom.
You can see they're enjoying it a lot more. It's easy to say when you're winning games but they have to put themselves in that position and they have done. They now need to keep it going and keep the consistency.

Liverpool have won six of their last seven Premier League home games against Aston Villa (D1), having been winless against them in four at Anfield before this (D2 L2).
Aston Villa have won just one of their last 15 Premier League games against Liverpool (D3 L11), a 7-2 victory at Villa Park in October 2020.
Aston Villa have won just one of their 30 Premier League away games against reigning champions (D5 L24), beating Man Utd 1-0 at Old Trafford in December 2009. The Villans have lost their last 11 such games, conceding 35 goals in the process.
