  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:00 British Summer Time 9 August

    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield

    Like father like son?

Charlie Savage dives in with a strong challenge on Herbie Kane.

Referee Matt Corlett brandishes the first yellow card of the day.

  2. 'Both defences on top'published at 12:59 British Summer Time 9 August

    Peterborough 0-0 Luton

    Simon Oxley
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

Both sides are nearly there but not quite in terms of linking up attack wise.

The two defences are on top at the moment.

  3. Postpublished at 12:59 British Summer Time 9 August

    Notts County 0-0 Salford City

    Mark Stallard
Former Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

    This is really scrappy.

We have seen only one shot from the visitors and it was really tame.

Both sides are still setting out their stalls and the quality at times, is lacking.

  4. Postpublished at 12:58 British Summer Time 9 August

    Notts County 0-0 Salford City

Pedestrian pace between these two sides for the most part, so far at Meadow Lane.

The perfect chance to share a stat ...

Notts County have won just one of their last 15 Football League games against sides from Greater Manchester.

  5. Postpublished at 12:57 British Summer Time 9 August

    Peterborough 0-0 Luton

If Archie Collins is to leave the Posh this summer, he wants to show them what they will miss.

He picks out Abraham Odoh and sends a long ball over to the forward, who picks it up perfectly.

Odoh then gives it a little nudge towards Bradley Ihionvien, who takes aim but his sharp shooting is quelled by the Luton keeper.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 12:56 British Summer Time 9 August

    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield

    That's a blow for Reading.

Captain Lewis Wing took a knock early in the game and he can't carry on.

It was a blow to the head so we'll go through the protocols and off comes Wing with Ben Elliott replacing him.

Elliott was one of the four changes made by boss Noel Hunt from last week's starting line up.

  7. Postpublished at 12:55 British Summer Time 9 August

    Peterborough 0-0 Luton

As the ball goes bouncing around the home final third, Luton's Jordan Clark bursts into the box unmarked and cuts across in for Jerry Yates to head in.

The whistle is blown before it gets to Yates though and rightly so as Clark is obviously offside.

  8. Postpublished at 12:54 British Summer Time 9 August

    Tranmere 2-0 Shrewsbury

    Jamie Tolley
Former Shrewsbury player on BBC Radio Shropshire

Tranmere playing really aggressively right now.

The Shrewsbury boys need to keep their focus and get a chance on goal.

  9. Postpublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 9 August

    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield

Jack Whatmough is back on for Huddersfield and he has to watch as the dangerous Daniel Kyerewaa turns in the area and shoots wide.

At the risk of repeating myself, the Reading man does look a good prospect.

  10. 'Game of chess'published at 12:53 British Summer Time 9 August

    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield

    Ady Williams
Former Reading captain on BBC Radio Berkshire

    I've enjoyed it so far.

I think Reading will have to decide not to press as much because Huddersfield play out of trouble so well. They are cutting through us like a knife through butter on occasions.

Reading have looked ok so far, but it's a game of chess at the moment.

  11. goal

GOAL: Tranmere 2-0 Shrewsburypublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 9 August

    Josh Davison (22)

    Tranmere are on fire!

Josh Davison strokes the ball into the bottom corner of the Shrewsbury net.

  12. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 12:52 British Summer Time 9 August

    Peterborough 0-0 Luton

Abraham Odoh is handled in the box by the Luton players and goes down.

The referee doesn't point to the spot but rather just gives a corner, much to Odoh's protests.

    The corner goes no where.

  13. Postpublished at 12:52 British Summer Time 9 August

    Notts County 0-0 Salford City

    Mark Stallard
Former Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

Jodi Jones is most skilled and creative player that Notts have.

You want to get him into positions to hurt the opponent.

It's up to the team to get him the ball.

  14. Postpublished at 12:51 British Summer Time 9 August

    Peterborough 0-0 Luton

A corner gives Luton a real opportunity.

Jordan Clark slices it over to the back post, where it's headed into the direction of Christ Makosso but the defender can't control his feet and it goes flying over the bar.

  15. Postpublished at 12:51 British Summer Time 9 August

    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield

A problem for Huddersfield defender Jack Whatmough who has gone down with a knee issue.

He was just knocked off balance when challenging for an aerial ball and landed awkwardly.

The players take the chance to grab some liquid refreshment.

  16. goal

GOAL: Tranmere 1-0 Shrewsburypublished at 12:50 British Summer Time 9 August

    Taylan Harris (19)

    Through the keeper's legs!

Tranmere's Taylan Harris with a side-footed strike pokes the ball home.

  17. Postpublished at 12:49 British Summer Time 9 August

    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield Town

    Jonny Buchan
    BBC Radio Leeds sports editor

Fireworks, pyrotechnics and a very excited PA announcer did their best to get the atmosphere going here.

Town fans playing their part too in good voice so far.

Ruben Roosken, on the back of his new deal, is looking lively down the left for Huddersfield.

Joe Taylor and Alfie May are chasing everything, if they can get their combinations right they will trouble every defence in this division.

  18. 'Lively start'published at 12:49 British Summer Time 9 August

    Peterborough 0-0 Luton

    Simon Oxley
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

It's been a lively start so far but there's been no real chances as of yet.

  19. Postpublished at 12:48 British Summer Time 9 August

    Peterborough 0-0 Luton

Forward Jerry Yates shows what he can bring to Luton when he weaves a through-ball into the feet of a sprinting Jordan Clark.

Clark has got the defenders beat but he doesn't out-do keeper Nicholas Bilokapic. Not that it matters much, offside flag is in the air anyway.

  20. Postpublished at 12:46 British Summer Time 9 August

    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield

Both these sides want to keep the ball and play through the thirds.

It's making for quite a slow pace to the game and they are rather cancelling each other out at the moment.

We've had 15 minutes of not very much to be honest.
