An excellent goal for Wanderers in what’s been a really impressive showing from Steven Schumacher’s side.

They should have had a second before now but it’s a first for Mason Burstow, on loan from Hull, after great work by another loanee in Brighton boy Amario Cozier-Duberry.

The heavens have now opened and it is teeming down at the Toughsheet. I can’t see the sodden Argyle players fighting back here, they’ve been outclassed and we still have another 20+ minutes to go.

  2. League One updatepublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 9 August

Davis Keillor-Dunn has levelled things up for Barnsley against Burton Albion to make a roaring comeback at 2-2.

Exeter City have taken a 3-1 lead over Blackpool courtesy of a close-range header from Jayden Wareham.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 9 August

    Wycombe 0-2 Stockport

Stockport make a couple of changes with Callum Camps and Joseph Olowu replaced by Nathan Lowe and Odin Bailey.

They're in control of this one.

  4. PENALTYpublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 9 August

    Harrogate 1-1 Grimsby

    What is happening?

    Penalty to Harrogate.

  5. goal

GOAL: Harrogate 1-1 Grimsbypublished at 16:27 British Summer Time 9 August

    Charles Vernam (68)

    Game on!

Grimsby's Charles Vernam with a defender on his heels smashes the ball into the bottom corner, super finish.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 9 August

    Wycombe 0-2 Stockport

A quadruple change for the home side just before that missed penalty.

Jack Grimmer is on for Dan Casey, James Tilley replaces Junior Quitirna, Alex Lowry comes on for Fred Onyedinma with his first contribution being to hit the post with the penalty.

    Richard Kone replaces Daniel Udoh

  7. 'Poor defending'published at 16:24 British Summer Time 9 August

    Bolton 2-0 Plymouth

    Guy Branston
Former Plymouth defender on BBC Radio Devon

It's a simple ball in the box that we've conceded from.

Once again we've conceded a goal that we shouldn't be conceding.

    It's poor defending.

  8. Postpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 9 August

    Bolton 2-0 Plymouth

    Sanny Rudravajhala
BBC Radio 5 Live at Toughsheet Community Stadium

Bolton have started the second half just as brightly as they were in the first 45. Thierry Gale continues to impress on the left flank.

He’s on his full debut after signing from Rapid Vienna but spending last season on loan in the Polish top flight with Piast Gliwice.

The 23-year-old Barbadian has also played in Georgia and Budapest after leaving home for Hungary in 2018.

  9. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 9 August

    Wycombe 0-2 Stockport

Alex Lowry has the chance to draw Wycombe back into the game but his spot kick hits the post.

  10. Postpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 9 August

    Harrogate 1-0 Grimsby

This game has suddenly come to life.

Harrogate's Stephen McKenna flashes a screamer across the face of goal and just wide.

He had support at the back post, possibly a little selfish from the midfielder, going for goal.

  11. goal

GOAL: Bolton 2-0 Plymouthpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 9 August

    Mason Burstow (60 mins)

I said earlier it could be close but Bolton are purring so far.

Mason Burstow nuzzles a strike into the corner and Bolton's defence don't seem up to the task.

New Argyle boss Tom Cleverley has some work on his hands if he wants Plymouth to return to the Championship at the end of the season.

  12. Postpublished at 16:22 British Summer Time 9 August

    Bolton 1-0 Plymouth

Josh Sheehan curls a corner towards the back post where teammate George Johnston is lurking.

Johnston can't control his touch though and the shot goes askew.

    Wycombe 0-2 Stockport

Dan Harvie wins a penalty for Wycombe and a big chance to get themselves back into the game.

  14. goal

GOAL Leyton Orient 2-0 Wiganpublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 9 August

    Josh Koroma (60 mins)

Double bubble for the home side.

Josh Koroma takes aim from the edge of the area and rockets one into the top corner.

It's a long way back for Wigan now.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 9 August

    Bolton 1-0 Plymouth

Plymouth's Matthew Sorinola commits a naughty foul on Max Conway and finds his name in the book.

  16. League One updatepublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 9 August

    #bbcfootball

The deadlock has been broken at Field Mill.

Mansfield Town have a 1-0 advantage over Doncaster Rovers after a stomping strike from Stephen McLaughlin reaches the net's inner corner.

While Barnsley's Caylan Vickers has clawed one back against Burton Albion to make it 2-1.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 9 August

    Leyton Orient 1-0 Wigan

A change for the home side as Sean Clare takes a breather and Tyreeq Bakinson is on.

  18. goal

GOAL: Harrogate 1-0 Grimsbypublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 9 August

    Reece Smith (59)

The deadlock has been broken! We have life at Wetherby Road.

Harrogate's Reece Smith, on his debut, fires a low shot into the bottom corner and past the Grimsby keeper Christy Pym.

  19. Postpublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 9 August

    Bolton 1-0 Plymouth

Now Plymouth's turn to take a corner.

Matthew Sorinola delivers and then finds it back at his feet before launching it towards goal. His shot has too much on it though and goes to waste.

  20. 'Brilliant finish'published at 16:14 British Summer Time 9 August

    Wycombe 0-2 Stockport

    Sam Avery
BBC Three Counties Radio's Wycombe commentator

It's beautifully taken by Jack Diamond.

From a Wycombe perspective, no one challenged him, but take nothing away from Jack Diamond because it's a brilliant finish.

I've been saying all game the lack of pressure on the ball is a concern and that is exactly why.
