A great start to this game at Turf Moor with both sides looking to threaten.

Josh Brownhill retrieves an overhit cross on the right for Burnley and scoops it back into the area. Jaidon Anthony challenges in the air but Bristol City are able to clear the danger.

It's third against seventh and it feels like it with the quality of play from both sets of players so far.

    Sunderland 0-0 Millwall

Sunderland were destroyed 3-0 at Coventry in their last game before the international break a couple of weeks ago.

    MY WORD!!!

Leeds take the lead after 35 seconds.

Brenden Aaronson bundles the ball in from six yards out after the away side block a couple of efforts from Joel Piroe.

What a response for Leeds after Sheffield United's win last night!

It's a gorgeous and sunny afternoon at Fratton Park.

The picture at the bottom of the table is getting tighter by the day so Portsmouth will really want to pick up three points here to add some breathing space between themselves and those below.

Blackburn will want a vital three points to keep them in the play-off picture, their fans have packed out the away end down in the right-hand corner.

We've just had 'One Day Like This' by Elbow played out which got the whole ground singing and clapping, everyone is now packed in and ready for kick-off.

  17. Pompey and Rovers both aiming to bounce backpublished at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    Portsmouth v Blackburn (15:00 GMT)

Portsmouth and Blackburn have seen their respective survival and play-off hopes dented in recent weeks.

Pompey have lost three of their past four and have been dragged back into the relegation fight, sitting just four points above the bottom three in 17th.

Rovers have picked up just one point in five games (D1 L4) to leave them five points behind the play-off spots in 10th.

John Mousinho's side are normally fairly reliable at Fratton Park with nine of their 11 wins this season coming on home soil, while Rovers have struggled on their travels, losing six of their past seven away matches (W1).

Both need the points this afternoon, but for very different reasons.

  18. Can Swans spring Whites surprise?published at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    Leeds v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

On paper this is about as much of a home banker as you'll see in the EFL today.

Promotion-chasing Leeds have the best home record in the division, while visitors Swansea have lost six of their past eight games on the road.

Of course, football's played on grass and Leeds fans have seen enough over the years than to start counting any chickens before they've hatched.

Daniel Farke's men looked to be cruising to promotion with successive wins over Sunderland and Sheffield United but have won just one of four since.

The Swans confirmed during the international break that one-time Whites full-back Alan Sheehan would be staying in charge until the end of the season.

The Welsh side start today six points clear of the bottom three which looks fine right now but a defeat today combined with some other results elsewhere might make for an uncomfortable journey home.

  19. A play-off dress rehearsal for Clarets and Robins?published at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    Burnley v Bristol City (15:00)

Burnley boss Scott ParkerImage source, PA Media

Burnley’s run of form has been nothing short of astonishing - 25 games unbeaten with 15 wins in that time, 20 clean sheets and only five goals conceded.

And yet the Clarets still find themselves outside the automatic promotion spots, though only by a slither, with the gap to second-placed Leeds just two points and leaders Sheffield United are five ahead having played a game more.

Burnley’s visitors to Turf Moor today also harbour ambitions of playing Premier League football next season, albeit Bristol City’s only route to the promised land is almost certainly by finishing in the top six.

The Robins are level on points with West Bromwich Albion in sixth and just two behind Coventry in fifth following a run of seven without defeat (W4 D3).

This is a big game at the top in Lancashire and one which could yet be a dress rehearsal for a play-off semi-final given the relative positions of the two sides, even if Burnley will be doing all they can to ensure that isn't the case.

  20. Canaries losing thrust in play-off battle behind Baggiespublished at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

Norwich v West Brom (15:00 GMT)

Norwich City boss Johannes Hoff Thorup speaking to his players during the 2-1 loss at Bristol CityImage source, PA Media

Today could well be Norwich City’s last chance to keep their season alive in any real meaningful manner.

A run of just one win in their past eight games (D4 L3) has seen the Canaries slip to 13th and eight points back from the top six.

Anything but a victory today for Johannes Hoff Thorup’s side will surely spell the end of any faint hopes of reaching the play-offs, while for West Bromwich Albion, it’s all very much still on.

The Baggies currently occupy sixth position, though only on goal difference from Bristol City and the chasing pack are within striking distance.

Albion are unbeaten in six (W2 D4) but are drawing too many games - 18 all told - and have recorded just eight victories from 32 matches since winning five of their opening six.

They have also failed to win any of their past 11 away league games (D7 L4) and may well need to put that right to keep their play-off hopes in their own hands.
