It was an error from Wout Faes, and as we all know from seeing him at Leicester he does have an error in him. Nice strike from Roman Yaremchuk, it is the only opportunity that Ukraine have had to test the Belgium goal so far. I like the fact he took the chance, he wasn't passing up the opportunity for a sighter at goal.

First proper attack from Ukraine as Roman Yaremchuk gets on to a loose ball and stings the palms of Belgium keeper Koen Casteels with a powerful, straight shot from range.

This is the type of ball Slovakia want. It has the pace and has the direction and no one in yellow wanted to touch it from fear of putting it in their own net. All it needed was a Slovakia touch for a goal.

The set piece so nearly leads to a Slovakia lead!

It flashes right across the face of goal and bounces just past the far post.

Centre back Milan Skriniar, up from the back for the free kick, was inches away from making contact.

Belgium are switching the ball nicely, showing their repertoire.

Looking at this Belgium defence and there is a lot of experience, but how good are they?

Jan Vertonghen has played a lot of games, but Wout Faes alongside him played in the Championship last season - you have got to think that is a bit if a weakness.

That was very easy and there was an amount of space for Roman Yaremchuk to hit that.

Ukraine have gone through the middle of the Belgium's team using two passes.

Kevin De Bruyne tries to slip through Romelu Lukaku but his pass is intercepted.

Ukraine are playing with five at the back and sitting very deep. They look so difficult to break down.

Just to respond to Dave's message, yep a big shame. I also would have loved to have seen manager Dominic Tedesco dressed up as Captain Haddock.

A free kick in a good position wide on the left for Slovakia, level with the edge of the Romania penalty area.

A good spot to swing a cross in for the Slovakians here...

Jeremy Doku looks good on the ball when he drives across the pitch but he just allowed Ukraine to flood the edge of the penalty area there and the Belgium move just broke down. You can just see Kevin De Bruyne telling him to move the ball on quicker at times.

There seems to be a lack of urgency from the boys in blue.

The problematic pitch in Frankfurt - as seen during England v Denmark - is causing issues again here.

Notable gashes are already appearing in the turf.

Belgium win two successive corners but can't do anything with them.

Two Belgium players and one Ukrainian actually went down in the box during their last corner, but referee Anthony Taylor waved play on. No fouls, just a coming together.

Better from Romania. It was good play from Andrei Ratiu who tried to cut in and find that far corner but Martin Dubravka produced a good save to deny him. Ianis Hagi picked up the loose ball but could only fire his shot well over.

At the moment Ukraine are not getting drawn out at ease. They are taking their time and pressing as and when they feel it is the right time to go.
