Late goals from substitutes Emmanuel Osadebe and Dennis Adeniran handed Barnet their first points back in League Two as they won 2-0.
With a woeful game running out of steam Osadabe volleyed at the far post to gobble up a calamitous backwards header from Swindon captain Will Wright in the 85th minute.
And in the 10th minute of stoppage time Lee Ndlovu latched onto a long ball and fed Adeniran to sweep home.
Town had made the early running with Darren Oldaker going close with a curler after Cieran Slicker made a hash of a backpass.
Slicker then found himself stranded with Aaron Drinan firing from an acute angle which the goalkeeper just about clawed away.
The Bees went close from Ollie Hawkins' firm far-post header but Connor Ripley clawed away.
Callum Stead should have opened the scoring when sent clear through but he fired straight at Ripley. After the break Town failed to clear their lines and the ball fell to Ryan Glover whose feeble shot was easily gathered.
But a late surge from the Bees handed them the win.
