Crystal Palace have a new goalkeeper and as expected it is Matt Turner coming in from Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan.
Brentford striker Ivan Toney has joined Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli on a permanent transfer, subject to international clearance.
The England striker scored 72 goals in 141 appearances for Brentford and played a key role in their promotion to the Premier League.
"It’s been a pleasure to work with Ivan over the last four years,” said head coach Thomas Frank.
"He has averaged more than one goal every two games, which is an unbelievable number.
"On the pitch, he has been a fantastic goalscorer, link-up player and leader. He has pushed the team, the squad and himself."
Wolves have sealed a loan deal for Ajax winger Carlos Forbs.
The club also have an option to buy the 20-year-old for 13.5m euros next summer and he adds to Gary O'Neil's squad after the sale of Pedro Neto to Chelsea.
Forbs joined Ajax from Manchester City in 2023 without making a senior appearance for City. He made 37 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring three times, and has featured in six games for Ajax this term.

I think Gary O'Neil is going to be a little disappointed with Wolves' window. I think they need a little bit more in the squad and he is going to really have to do well on the training ground. We know how thorough he is, how detailed he is but I think they may be caught a little bit short.
They may be down there [the bottom of the table] to some extent, there may be some uncertainty. If he gets them anywhere away from the pack and near the middle of the table he would have done unbelievably yet again.
League One side Peterborough United have signed Jadel Katongo on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
The 19-year-old defender, who has represented England at Under-20 level, was on loan with the Posh last season and returns there for the rest of this campaign.

When Ipswich got promoted there was 75% of players who played in League One - it's a massive overhaul.
It was needed, when we played Liverpool seven of the 11 players had played in League one - it is the harsh reality of football, but it is needed.

For Billy Gilmour, if you think about Roberto de Zerbi's style at Brighton that he played in, he was really, really good, but Antonio Conte is the complete opposite. They play a back three, they don't build up the same way, the passing styles are not at all the same as he played under de Zerbi. He will have to get used to that, plus Italian football in general, the language, the culture, everything else.
I like the Gilmour signing far more than the McTominay one [for Napoli] but even for him it is a massive discovery and journey [to adapt].

Always surprised more players don't move to nearby clubs, like Sterling might. None of these guys care about local rivalries like the fans do, and most of them have families. Has to be appealing getting the positive parts of a move without uprooting the wife and kids from their lives.

A deal sheet for Raheem Sterling's loan move to Arsenal has gone in. We understand there is no loan fee involved.
Southampton
Southampton have completed the loan signing of Ivory Coast forward Maxwel Cornet from West Ham United.
Cornet, 27, arrives after two seasons with West Ham, where he has made 37 appearances and was part of the squad that won the Europa Conference League in 2023.
Southampton manager Russell Martin said: “Maxwel is a very dynamic player and he gives us another exciting dimension to the group.
“He’s someone who can be a real threat to the opposition on the pitch and I’m delighted the ownership group and board have been able to get another attacking option in for us.
“He’s really excited to be coming here and I think it’s a move that can bring out the best in him and work really well for both him and us.”
We can tick one of those off the list...
Any more?

Leicester have beaten the deadline to sign Odsonne Edouard on loan from Crystal Palace.
The striker moves to the King Power Stadium for the rest of the season to boost Steve Cooper's firepower.
He said: "There’s a fantastic squad here and I’m confident that the team has what it takes to be successful. I’ll be working hard to make sure I do everything I can to support my team and to show the fans what I can do on the pitch.”
We're an hour beyond the window closing but we're all still full of energy and buzzing.

As we wait for confirmation of Jadon Sancho's loan move to Manchester United, it is worth thinking about the players who have left the club since the end of last season.
Alvaro Fernandez, Mason Greenwood, Hannibal, Willy Kambwala, Scott McTominay, Maxi Oyedele, Facundo Pellistri, Donny van de Beek, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial.
There is sadness at McTominay's exit, the obvious cloud that surrounded Greenwood and disappointment Varane couldn't stay fit for long spells but apart from that, can anyone truly argue those players were of the standard required to take United back to where they wanted to go.
They still have some way to go - and a number of players who are not good enough. But you do start to get the feeling there is a focus at Old Trafford that has been missing for too long.
Where it will take them, I am not sure but United in terms of player sales, United have had a good window.

The midfield has been an area for some time that Manchester United have been lacking, but only time will tell if the business they have done will prove to be an upgrade.
We have seen a bit of imbalance in that area, particularly with not having a number nine at the top of the pitch, using a false nine, it is a bit more solid but from there on they need more legs.
Manuel Ugarte coming in alongside Kobbie Mainoo will add that balance but there is some work to do for them to get right back to the top.
Newcastle United
The lack of business at Newcastle this summer has led to Alan Shearer voicing his concern.
On X, external, the former England striker said: "They [the board] haven’t helped Eddie at all. Failed him."
Ipswich defender George Edmundson, 27, has joined Championship Middlesbrough on a season-long loan.
