    FT: Leeds 4-0 Oxford

    Leigh Bromby
Former Leeds defender on BBC Radio Leeds

Second half it started equal, but then as it went on you could see the quality Leeds have. The amount that we had the ball probably made it harder for Oxford but we were dominant.

Really good performance from Ampadu, he was the best player on the pitch and to come in and do that is really impressive.

The squad looks strong with players off the bench, I think the manager will be happy today.

Plymouth - the Championship's bottom side - have now conceded 17 goals in their past five league games and 45 in total this season.

The next highest is Oxford United with 37, and they are only above Wayne Rooney's team on goal difference.

In turn, Middlesbrough are the division's second-highest scorers with 38 goals.

But even Michael Carrick's side have disappointed defensively. Out of the sides in the top half of the table, only Sheffield Wednesday have conceded more than the 28 that Boro have let in.

The bottom 10 of the Championship after the games on 21 December

Plymouth Argyle earn the unwanted tag of being bottom of the pile at Christmas despite their 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough.

Portsmouth and Hull City both won to move out of the drop zone with Cardiff and Oxford falling to defeats to make up the rest of the bottom three.

Luton Town were the weekend's big winners with their victory over Derby last night seeing them climb from 19th to 15th.

The Championship top 10 after the games on 21 December

Sheffield United will celebrate Christmas Day from the top of the Championship after their 2-0 victory at Cardiff, while Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland will also be in fine festive spirits as they picked up wins.

Blackburn lost for the first time in six games but Middlesbrough could only make up one point in their humdinger at Plymouth, while Watford suffered defeat at Turf Moor so cannot close the gap.

Millwall's late winner at The Den means they move into the top 10, while Sheffield Wednesday are now just three points off the play-offs after beating Stoke 2-0 at lunchtime.

    QPR 2-1 Preston

QPR's Jimmy Dunne is the hero against the 10 men of Preston as the defender's late header gives the hosts a third home win in a row.

Milutin Osmajic had given Paul Heckingbottom's side the lead after sliding the ball home in a move which saw Rs defender Steve Cook go down injured.

Rayan Kolli finished from close range after good work by Paul Smyth down the right, but both sides looked set to take a point from the match until Liam Lindsay's second yellow card gave QPR's attack the upper hand and Dunne ultimately capitalised.

The victory also helped Marti Cifuentes' side move four places up the table to 14th.

    Plymouth 3-3 Middlesbrough

An extraordinary encounter at Home Park sees Wayne Rooney's Plymouth Argyle end a run of four defeats, but squander the chance to move out of the bottom three as they and Middlesbrough matched the 3-3 scoreline from this fixture last season.

Plymouth led three times, but four goals in twelve frantic second-half minutes saw Boro repeatedly come back to level the match.

    Burnley 2-1 Watford

Burnley cling on for all three points.

The Clarets extend their unbeaten run to nine games and are still yet to lose at Turf Moor this season.

Scott Parker's side have also still not conceded more than one goal in a game.

Jaidon Anthony and Josh Brownhill had put them two up before Kwadwo Baah pulled one back late on for Watford, but the visitors couldn't find a leveller.

What a finale to this game as Millwall win it in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

The Lions, in their first game since Neil Harris left, have ended a six-game winless streak and recover from three straight defeats to win 1-0 at home yet again this season.

In doing so, they also end Blackburn's run of six straight wins and five clean sheets.

Moments after a brilliant double save from Preston keeper Freddie Woodman, the hosts are in front against the 10 men.

QPR defender Jimmy Dunne has been a great presence at the back all season, but this time he makes the difference in attack, sending a towering header into the net following a great cross from substitute midfielder Ilias Chair.
