  4. As it stands - England to face Slovakiapublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's early finish means as it stands, Georgia would qualify for the round of 16 as a best third-place side.

They would take on Spain in the next stage of the tournament, while England would take on Slovakia, not the Netherlands.

Hungary, who are currently sat in the final best third-placed team spot, would be eliminated.

  5. 'Kvaratskhelia a real threat'published at 20:09 British Summer Time 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is not just a good goalscorer or good one on one but he has the pace to get in behind. He showed a clean pair of heels when he broke away a few minutes ago. He is a real threat.

Ian: Great goal by Georgia, what a start.

Tom: I love watching Georgia like I should love watching England. I'm rooting for them from now on. Exciting bunch of blokes.

Anon: Yes Georgia that’s what we want to see….. would love to the scenes in their capital if they go through.

  7. Strong start by Czech Republicpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Volksparkstadion

Long way to go but as things stand Czech Republic are bottom of their group. They need to go for the win and, to be fair, they have been doing that with lots of early attacks so far in this game, each one prompting a volley of jeers and boos from the Turkey supporters.

  8. Postpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

Nice move from Turkey but captain Hakan Calhanoglu loses his footing in the box.

Calhanoglu is making his eighth appearance at the Euros, the joint most of any Turkish outfield player. Will he get a chance to break the record next week?

  9. 'Beautiful finish, what a start for Georgia'published at 20:05 British Summer Time 26 June

Brilliant finish. Antonio Silva has a nightmare - shocking pass.

The problem Silva has got Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has a yard on him, Kvaratskhelia opens up his body and has a left foot shot go right across the goalkeeper.

Beautiful finish, what a start for Georgia.

  10. 'Before it arrived to his feet you knew he was going to score'published at 20:05 British Summer Time 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Georgia had hardly had a kick of the ball, with Portugal passing it around the back lazily. But it was a lazy pass that saw them give it away. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia just slides the finish into the far post. Before it arrived to his feet you knew he was going to score. We did ask for a fast start.

  11. Postpublished at 20:03 British Summer Time 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

Bright start for the Czechs and Lukas Provod's 20-yard drive requires a diving save from Mert Gunok.

  12. goal

GOAL - Georgia 1-0 Portugalpublished at 2 mins

    Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Georgia take the lead inside the opening two minutes.

It is a disaster for Portugal's Antonio Silva as he gives it away near the halfway line, Georgia spring a counter and the ball is played through to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Napoli man has the pace and skill to stay ahead of his marker and then drill a fine angled low strike past Diogo Costa.

If it stays like this, Georgia would be qualifying.

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

An early long throw-in from the Czechs causes some problems but the referee spots something so Turkey have a free-kick.

There are no easy games in the Euros. They are here on merit and are still fighting to qualify, so Portugal have to stay focussed. They will come with everything, fight for every ball and be on it. We need to be careful tonight.

    Georgia v Portugal (20:00 BST)

Georgia have a chance against Portugal tonight. They are not a brilliant team but they are an organised team. Sometimes organised teams can surprise you. Play really well, stick in games and sneak a goal.
