Will Patrik Schick even make the bench? He didn't appear to be warming up with the rest of the substitutes a little earlier.

However, Czech coach Ivan Hasek did tell Uefa.com earlier that he will be involved after a fitness test.

We shall find out for sure in just over 10 minutes.

    On winning a Euros...

    It isn't bad!

When we arrived in Portugal and all those people were waiting for us, that is a moment you will never forget. It was unforgettable.

    Georgia v Portugal (20:00 BST)

    • This will be the second match between Portugal and Georgia, after the Portuguese won a Euro 2008 warm-up friendly 2-0.
    • Georgia's Georges Mikautadze can become the third player to score his team's first three goals at a European Championship, after Gerd Muller (first three goals for West Germany in 1972) and Hristo Stoichkov (first three for Bulgaria in 1996).
    • Portugal have qualified for the knockout stages in all of their nine appearances at the Euros, the longest 100% record in the competition's history.
    • Georgia have faced more shots (49) and more shots on target (20) than any other side in the opening two group games.
    • Cristiano Ronaldo becomes the first European player to make 50 appearances at major tournaments.

Portugal secured their place in the last 16 in style with a commanding 3-0 win over Turkey.

They will face the third-ranked team from Group A (Hungary) or C (Slovenia) in Frankfurt on 1 July.

Portugal, at sixth in the Fifa rankings, are 68 places above Georgia in 74th, which is the biggest gap at the tournament.

  5. A message of good luckpublished at 19:44 26 June

Czech Republic v Turkey (20:00 BST)

Each team has a famous face pop up on the screens in the match build-up to wish them luck and for Czech Republic it was their legendary former striker Jan Koller, who got a huge cheer from their fans.

I would say it is the Turkish supporters who are by far and away the loudest, however. What I assume to be a Turkish pop song is being played on the speakers now and they are absolutely loving it.

  8. 'We're more motivated because Portugal are through'published at 19:37 26 June

    Georgia v Portugal (20:00 BST)

Georgia winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia believes his side are "more motivated" than Portugal to win their final group-stage match.

Roberto Martinez's Portuguese side have already qualified as winners of Group F.

A win would realistically be needed for Georgia to progress. If the Czech Republic and Georgia both win, they will advance in second or third.

"Psychologically and motivation-wise, we are more motivated than Portugal because Portugal are already through to the round of 16," Kvaratskhelia said.

Playing at their first European Championship, Georgia have one point to show from two promising performances.

Georgia boss Willy Sagnol is pleased with his side's efforts so far.

"If, before the competition, we would have been told maybe on your third match you will still have the possibility to qualify, I think we would all have signed these documents immediately," he said.

On Pepe (who is among the substitutes today)...

    Incredible.

The way he's been able to maintain his levels is fantastic.

At 41 years old he can read a situation, it is a pleasure to have been playing with him and he knows exactly where everyone is. He has great anticipation and he can also play out and go on a run.

Outside of the pitch he is the nicest guy, but on the pitch he is an animal. He is a beast and a competitive guy who wants to win at all costs.

  10. Sutton's prediction - Turkey through, Czechs outpublished at 19:35 26 June

Czech Republic v Turkey (20:00 BST)

    Chris Sutton
    BBC football expert

Turkey came up short against Portugal. I was in Dortmund for that game, and their fans were not happy with their manager, Vincenzo Montella.

It was a very one-sided defeat and they will have to pick themselves up here, although they only need a point to finish second in Group F.

The Czech Republic will be disappointed not to beat Georgia but they ended up almost losing the game to a late breakaway.

The Czechs are well structured and well organised and they will throw everything at this game but, although Turkey look vulnerable at the back, I am not sure it will be enough.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-1

It has been hot here in Hamburg all day. Really hot.

Even now, as we head towards 9pm local time it is almost 30c but, fortunately for the players, the pitch is well shaded.

Not so much luck for many of the fans and a certain journalist from Yorkshire who burns easily at the mere hint of sunshine...

  12. Head-to-head recordpublished at 19:30 26 June

Czech Republic v Turkey (20:00 BST)

    • Turkey have won the last three meetings, after three wins and 12 defeats in their previous 18 fixtures against the Czech Republic or Czechoslovakia.
    • The Turks triumphed 2-1 in the most recent meeting in a 2022 friendly.
    • The Czech Republic are the only opponents that Turkey have won multiple Euros matches against - the final group game in both 2008 and 2016. Once every eight years... an omen?
  13. Postpublished at 19:28 26 June

Czech Republic v Turkey (20:00 BST)

Czech midfielder Tomas Soucek is looking forward to tonight's atmosphere.

"All the fans are going to be going crazy because both our fans and the Turkish fans are absolutely fantastic,” said the West Ham player.

"We can compare this match to our last match against the Netherlands at Euro 2020. That was a last-16 match, everything was at stake, whether we advanced or not. Now it’s the same situation."

The Czechs beat the Dutch 2-0 in that game in Budapest.

For these fans this will almost have the feel of a home tournament with Germany having the largest population of Turkish people outside of Turkey.

They've been the dominant supporters in every city they have played in, and it was no different in Hamburg.

There's understandably plenty of optimism that they can go far, and they've all been in a relaxed mood here as their side will just need to draw to progress.

Every national team fan loves their side to have a wonderkid and 19-year-old Arda Guler has been the name on most shirts here.

  16. What it all means for Englandpublished at 19:22 26 June

Results in this group will decide whether England will face the Netherlands or Slovakia in the last 16.

Gareth Southgate's men will face the Dutch, who finished third in Group D, unless the Czech Republic beat Turkey or Georgia are victorious against Portugal tonight.

That is because Turkey, Czech Republic and Georgia can all finish third in Group F - and, if they do so while ending up with three points or more, they would take Hungary's place in the third-placed standings.

The knock-on effect of that will leave England with a tie against Slovakia.

  18. Martinez worried about fans wanting Ronaldo selfiespublished at 19:19 26 June

Portugal boss Roberto Martinez has called for an end to “dangerous” pitch invasions for spectators hoping for photographs with superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Five people made it on to the pitch during his side’s 3-0 win over Turkey in Dortmund, and Martinez does not want a repeat as they bring their Group F campaign to a close against Georgia in Gelsenkirchen.

Speaking at his pre-match news conference, the Spaniard said: “He’s a very experienced player, he’s been with the team for over 20 years. He knows the kind of support fans provide, but not just Portugal fans, football fans.

“I hope there won’t be any pitch invasions. This is dangerous and it’s not good for football, it’s not a part of the game that we want to see.”

Martinez, who confirmed beforehand that 39-year-old skipper Ronaldo and keeper Diogo Costa will start the game, insisted Portugal would be targeting victory even though top spot in the group has already been secured with Georgia, the Czech Republic and Turkey battling it out for qualification.

He said: “It’s important to maintain the integrity of the Euros. It’s a very important game because this result will be crucial to determine who qualifies and who doesn’t.”

  19. 'Unfair criticism entertains me'published at 19:17 26 June

Czech Republic v Turkey (20:00 BST)

Some Turkey fans were critical of the team after losing 3-0 to Portugal last time out.

The Turks beat Georgia 3-1 in their opening game.

Boss Vincento Montella said: "There will always be criticism, there will be fair criticism, personally I accept that but it gives me cause for thought.

"There is also unfair criticism and that entertains me and motivates me.

"We are united, we are very motivated and our fate is in our own hands and it comes down to us because we are not reliant on a result from another team.

"It's only our match that matters so we are focused on responding on the pitch as we have done over the past 10 months.

"I don't want to recall all the number of records we've managed to secure and what these players have done over the past 10 months - they [fans] need to be supportive."

  20. 'My team play as one man'published at 19:15 26 June

Czech Republic v Turkey (20:00 BST)

Czech Republic boss Ivan Hasek has only been in charge since January.

They are yet to win a game at Euro 2024, losing 2-1 to Portugal and then drawing 1-1 with Georgia.

The 60-year-old, who has managed a host of teams, said: "There is a positive energy in the team.

"Some of the players have not played yet, not got that many opportunities and we want to win for them, mostly so that their chances of getting on the pitch and playing here remains.

"I really have great trust in my team, they play as one man and I think we will show that on the pitch.

"Getting out of the group is success, not getting out is failure. We came here to get out of the group and advance into the knockout stage."
