    Tony 'Bomber' Brown
West Brom's all-time leading goalscorer on BBC Radio WM

Kyle Bartley loses it again, he's having one of those games.

Sometimes you have those games as a player where you give ball away more than you should.

It happens to every player, but they need a goal now to change things around.

  9. Postpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-1 Norwich

Derby left-back Craig Forsyth strides down the left before playing Nathaniel Mendez-Laing through on the left corner of the area, he opens up his body and shapes to curl into the far top corner but his effort cannons off a defender and behind for a corner... which sees Kayden Jackson punished for blocking keeper Angus Gunn.

    Better from Derby, though.

  10. Postpublished at 13:46 British Summer Time 28 September

    Sheff Wed 2-0 West Brom

Prior to today West Brom had conceded just two goals from six league games this season.

They're looking to overturn a 2-0 deficit in a league match for the first time since coming from 2-0 down to beat Luton 3-2 in January 2023.

    Big ask.

    Blackburn take the lead!

It's a deflected effort from Lewis Travis who receives the ball from Tyrhys Dolan, takes a touch and fires goal bound.

His strike takes a touch off a QPR player and flies past keeper Paul Nardi and into the net.

The 10 men's task just got a whole lot tougher.

  12. CLOSE!published at 13:42 British Summer Time 28 September

    Blackburn 0-0 QPR

How has that not gone in!

Blackburn sub Todd Cantwell already making an impact, forcing QPR keeper Paul Nardi into an impressive save down to his right from a low shot.

Tyrhys Dolan and Yuki Ohashi also have efforts saved, we even have goal line technology check another effort from Cantwell in the barrage of shots. His shot did not cross the line, only half of the ball across.

Good start to the second half for the home side.

  13. Postpublished at 13:41 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-1 Norwich

The assistant referee at the centre of the goal storm makes a nice quiet start to the second half by awarding Norwich a free-kick after a tussle between Kayden Jackson and Norwich defender Jose Cordoba down by the corner flag.

Jackson is perplexed. The fans ramp it up a notch.

Ten-man QPR make a double change themselves at the break.

Their path back into this one can only begin with a goal.

  18. 'This is why we need VAR in the Championship'published at 13:28 British Summer Time 28 September

    HT: Derby 0-1 Norwich

    Ed Dawes
    BBC Radio Derby commentator

It's out of play by a foot, they have frozen the replay, it's out by a mile.

This is why we need VAR in the Championship, Derby are unlucky.

Sadly they have been let down by the officials.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:22 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-1 Norwich

If Derby are going to make it 10 straight home wins they'll have to do a lot of work in the second half.

Their quest for an eighth-straight clean sheet is over amid huge controversy.

Borja Sainz's close-range flick was glorious, but the ball had clearly gone out in the build-up.

Boos fill the Pride Park air as the whistle sounds, directed solely at the officials.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:22 British Summer Time 28 September

    Blackburn 0-0 QPR

What an ending to the first half.

QPR's Jonathan Varane being sent off pretty much the last action of the first 45.

Neither side have been able to really produce a big chance yet, the closest coming from QPR's Paul Smyth in the opening stages.

It will be interesting to see how the Hoops set up for the second half, down a man and away from home, will they try and play for a point or will they go for it?
