    Well, well, well.

Sheffield Wednesday, without a league win since the opening day, lead the table-topping Baggies 2-0 at the break.

Darnell Furlong's own goal and Josh Windass' well taken header have the home side sitting pretty.

I wonder if we might see some changes from Carlos Corberan as he looks to try and maintain his side's unbeaten start to the campaign.

  2. goal

GOAL Derby 0-1 Norwichpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 28 September

    Borja Sainz (45+2 mins)

VERY controversial. You're going to hear a lot about this goal.

Derby are incensed as they think the ball has gone out of play as Josh Sargent is driven wide by Jacob Zetterstrom and stretches to hook a cross low into the middle.

Borja Sainz meets the cross with a delicious back-heel into the net at the near post.

The ball looked to be several inches off the field when Sargent slid in.

The move began as Nathaniel Mendez-Laing was robbed in a dangerous area, another factor which will surely incense Paul Warne.

Still, the goal stands, the first Derby have conceded in 200 days at Pride Park.

  3. CLOSE!published at 13:18 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

That's a goal saving clearance from Derby defender Eiran Cashin as Borja Sainz sends a low cross from the left towards the back post where Josh Sargent is waiting to tap into the unguarded net from six yards out.

Cashin's toe diverts the ball past the post on the slide, and Norwich have to settle for another corner - which comes to nought.

  4. RED CARDpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 28 September

    Blackburn 0-0 QPR

Queens Park Rangers are down to ten men on the brink of half time!

Jonathan Varane is sent off for a bad challenge on Danny Batth, the QPR man dribbles with the ball and a slightly heavy touch sees him lunge and he ends up following through and catching Batth with his studs.

  5. Postpublished at 13:16 British Summer Time 28 September

    Sheff Wed 2-0 West Brom

The home side look to put this one beyond the league leaders but Alex Palmer in the Baggies goal makes a smart double stop to deny Shea Charles and then Marvin Johnson.

Wednesday ripping up the form book right now.

  6. Postpublished at 13:13 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

Better from Jacob Zetterstrom as the Derby keeper races 10 yards out his box to head a bouncing ball clear under pressure from Josh Sargent.

The keeper wears a Petr Cech-style scrum cap after a year out earlier in his career with a head injury. Might even have given him a few extra yards on his clearance there.

West Brom forward Karlan Grant sees a shot smartly saved by James Beadle in the Owls net as the away side seek a way back into this before the break.

  8. 'Not the Albion we've seen so far this season'published at 13:10 British Summer Time 28 September

    Sheff Wed 2-0 West Brom

    Tony 'Bomber' Brown
West Brom's all-time leading goalscorer on BBC Radio WM

It's been poor defending for the goals, it's not the Albion we have seen in the early stages to go to the top of league.

Carlos Corberan might make a few changes at half-time to freshen things up.

Mikey Johnston is a certainty to come on.

  9. Postpublished at 13:09 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

Derby midfielder Ben Osborn gifts possession to Norwich's Borja Sainz in a dangerous position, he drifts forward and sees his first effort blocked but the ball is worked back to him by Ante Crnac and his scuffed shot loops into the air and needs to be tipped over the bar by the scrambling Jacob Zetterstrom.

The resulting corner is then swung right at the keeper who is handed a very generous free-kick after making a meal of his attempted punch under pressure once again.

  10. Postpublished at 13:08 British Summer Time 28 September

    Blackburn 0-0 QPR

The game has quietened down in the past few minutes, no real big chances of note.

However it is the home side Blackburn who have the latest couple of opportunities, Hayden Carter looping a header goal-bound that had QPR keeper Paul Nardi scrambling for a second but he gathered the ball well eventually.

Just after it looked although Rovers may be put through on goal, Tyrhys Dolan threading a gorgeous pass through to Yuki Ohashi who cuts back across at the last minute with the ball and is tackled superbly by the retreating Steve Cook.

  11. Postpublished at 13:06 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

Another break in play as Ebou Adams reacquaints himself with the Derby medical team after a nasty clash near his own box.

He walks off under his own steam and looks like he will be ok to continue... again!

  12. CLOSE!published at 13:05 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

Marcelino Nunez's outswinging corner drops to the edge of the Derby box where Borja Sainz is lurking with intent.

He does well to keep his sweet half-volley low through a crowd but the ball flashes a yard past Jacon Zetterstrom's left post with the keeper left flat-footed.

  13. Postpublished at 13:04 British Summer Time 28 September

    Sheff Wed 2-0 West Brom

Excluding play-offs this is the first time West Brom have been 2-0 down in a game since April.

Their opponents that day? Sheffield Wednesday.

    The venue? Hillsborough.

    The final score? 3-0.

Not great omens for the travelling Baggies faithful.

    Rob Staton
    BBC Radio Sheffield commentator

People were saying this was going to be a tough game.

I'm telling you now there's a long way to go, over an hour.

But I will be very surprised if West Brom are top of the league come May.

If you agree with Rob that West Brom won't be sat atop the table come next spring then give this post a thumbs up and thumbs down if you're backing the Baggies for the title

  15. ouch!

Postpublished at 13:00 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

Josh Sargent needs a minute. He takes a Derby clearance kick full in the nethers from a few yards away and sinks to the turf counting to 10, at least.

Play continues and Kellen Fisher whips an inviting cross from the right which flies across the face of goal.

If only Sargent had been, er, intact, he'd have loved to be on the end of that one.

  16. Postpublished at 12:57 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

Norwich keeper Angus Gunn showcases his reactions with a fine point-blank save to keep Jerry Yates' sliding effort from close-range out.

He didn't know the flag was up, so it wouldn't have stood, but he'll feel proud on the inside I'm sure.

  17. goal

    Josh Windass (23 mins)

GOAL scored by Sheffield Wednesday's Josh Windass (11) during the EFL Sky Bet Championship match between Sheffield Wednesday and West Bromwich AlbionImage source, Rex Features

    OH MY!

Sheffield Wednesday double their lead against the league leaders with a great header from Josh Windass.

The Baggies have a mountain to climb if they're to keep their unbeaten start to the Championship campaign going.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:55 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

Norwich defender Shane Duffy has also picked up an early caution after bundling into the back of Jerry Yates in midfield. Very avoidable, that. Another tightrope to walk.

Its not a booking, It's not a booking! No chance.

    It's just ridiculous.

The ref has now got to book every player that makes a slightly late challenge.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 28 September

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

Norwich's Oscar Schwartau nips the ball away from Craig Forsyth and the Derby veteran lunges in, taking none of the ball but a lot of the man.

He's into the book after just 21 minutes. That's one to keep an eye on. Norwich are technically excellent and shifting the ball around very quickly. Another mistimed challenge and he'd surely walk.
