One win, one draw and one defeat for the Whites from their three home Championship games so far this campaign.

Well the 12:30 games were absolute madness, let's see what traditional old 15:00 has in store for us shall we?

    Let's dive in...

  17. Managerless Bluebirds need a liftpublished at 14:59 British Summer Time 28 September

    Hull v Cardiff (15:00 BST)

    Naz Premji
    Final Score

Managerless Cardiff are heading north to East Yorkshire in search of their first win. It's a first game for the Bluebirds since the departure of boss Erol Bulut.

Steven Schumacher, Ryan Lowe, Omar Riza and Nathan Jones have all been linked with the job. Today is all about trying to get a positive response out of a squad who are underachieving, sitting bottom of the table.

Tim Walter has brought a new style and substance to Hull City. The Tigers were busy in the summer and the raft of new players are now beginning to gel and we saw a first Championship win at Stoke last time out.

The home side will be hoping to pile on the misery for their Welsh visitors who need a lift and soon - or they could be in real trouble if results don't turn quickly.

  18. Postpublished at 14:56 British Summer Time 28 September

    Watford v Sunderland (15:00 BST)

    Marc Webber
    Final Score

The early bird could catch the worm in this game, as Watford have conceded in the first five minutes of their last four games in league and EFL Cup.

Sunderland seeking to be top by tonight - a draw could be enough to make that happen.

  19. Black Cats aiming to party like it's 1999published at 14:55 British Summer Time 28 September

    Watford v Sunderland (15:00 BST)

Westlife, 5ive and Robbie Williams dominated the airwaves and the Millennium bug was the talk of the town the last time Sunderland won at Vicarage Road.

The Black Cats have however picked up just four points from their six visits to Watford since their 3-2 Premier League triumph on 27 November, 1999, and have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of them.

After a fine start to Tom Cleverley’s time in the Hornets dugout, when his side claimed 20 points from 12 games, Watford have taken just one point from their past three matches.

By contrast Regis Le Bris’s side have won five of their opening six matches for just the sixth time in their illustrious history, the other, however, was a dramatic 3-2 defeat at Plymouth in the last away game.

It feels like goals are in the offing today, but will those be famous last words…?

  20. Pelach's Potters look find form on the roadpublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 28 September

    Middlesbrough v Stoke (15:00 BST)

We have an intriguing one in store when Middlesbrough entertain Stoke this afternoon.

Michael Carrick’s side have picked up only five points from their past five matches, though they do boast an enviable home record with 18 points from their last nine encounters at the Riverside.

Their home form against Stoke is even better, with 17 points from their last five encounters on Teeside, although last season’s 2-0 win at the Riverside helped the Potters complete the double over Boro and they head north east today seeking a third straight league win over their hosts for the first time since 1958.

Stoke have lost four of their last five league games and after replacing Steven Schumacher at the helm ahead of last weekend's 3-1 home defeat to Hull City, new boss Narcis Pelach will be aiming to improve their away form, with just 13 points from their past dozen games on the road.

Stoke did romp to a surprise 5-0 EFL Cup win here under Schumacher just 32 days ago, but they have managed just one goal from their three league away games so far this season.
