    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Newcastle

Joelinton and Morgan Gibbs-White exchange some words.

Ryan Yates is there to step in. Yates has been involved quite a lot so far, let's just say.

It is threatening to boil over a little bit this one. Newcastle think Joe Willock was fouled by Anthony Elanga a couple of minutes ago but Anthony Taylor and VAR say not.

Ruud van Nistelrooy will be thinking this is easy, won't he?

  3. goal

GOAL -Tottenham 0-2 Ipswichpublished at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Liam Delap (43 mins)

    Ipswich 2-0 up!

The visitors counter from that Spurs attack.

Leif Davis finds Sam Szmodics, whose effort from a tight angle is saved. The rebound hits Radu Dragusin and might be going into his own net before Liam Delap gets the final touch to be sure.

Forest are starting to get nervy. You can hear the anxiety in this crowd.

    Tottenham 0-1 Ipswich

Ipswich goalkeeper Arijanet Muric gifts the ball to Spurs and is very lucky that Son Heung-min's pass was poor.

That second goal has been given to Bruno for now, actually.

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Newcastle

A couple of really poor bits of quality from England new boy Lewis Hall.

He's stood over a free-kick on the edge of the right-hand side of the area after Callum Hudson-Odoi brought Tino Livramento down.

It's low to the near post by Hall and hacked clear. He runs after the clearance and picks up the loose ball, but his delivery is straight into the hands of Matz Sels.

  8. 'Fernandes is playing well'published at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Man Utd 2-0 Leicester

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City and Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Fernandes is playing well. He knows when to pass it and when to run. When the ball comes in, he watches it all the way and heads it. He gets the job done.

Ange says he's happy with the way Spurs have been playing. I think the defence is awful.

  10. goal

GOAL - Man Utd 2-0 Leicesterpublished at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Bruno Fernandes (38 mins)

That man again! Or maybe not. It's going to be an own goal for Victor Kristiansen surely.

A good cross from the left comes in, Bruno Fernandes stoops to head it from about six yards out but the ball hits him on the thigh, cannons into his marker Kristiansen and flies in.

    Tottenham 0-1 Ipswich

Spurs have conceded the opening goal in 13 of their 15 Premier League home games in 2024. They won eight of those previous 12 matches. So they've been here before. But they'd probably like not to always be doing this.

I'm sorry but this is a perfect example of just how bad the officials are in the premier league. Miss a clear red for Yates. Give a corner which should have been a goal kick leading to a goal. Scared to blow the whistle in favour of anyone in black and white today.

    Anon

There was a little bit of a debate about whether the corner - which was before Forest won a free-kick, which they scored the opener from - should have been a goal-kick, with the ball coming last off Ryan Yates.

  13. Postpublished at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham 0-1 Ipswich

Excellent tackle from Ipswich's Ben Johnson to slide in and take the ball off Destiny Udogie just as he's about to break into the box. Get that wrong and it's a red card/penalty.

  14. 'There has to be accountability for a goal like that'published at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham 0-1 Ipswich

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Tottenham have conceded a poor goal. Someone needs to have a chat and say step it up, there has to be accountability for a goal like that. When it goes up there is no reaction, someone has to take charge of that situation. There should be a leader in there.

  15. Postpublished at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham 0-1 Ipswich

Dominic Solanke is fine by the way and almost gets onto a long ball. No immediate response from Spurs to going behind.

  16. Postpublished at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Man Utd 1-0 Leicester

Facundo Buonanotte is a real livewire and dashes between two red shirts before going down on the edge of the area - he doesn't get anything from referee Peter Bankes and he's raging about that.

  17. Postpublished at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Newcastle

    Kevin Nolan
Former Newcastle midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Newcastle are starting to put pressure onto Forest now. Forest can't let them keep building momentum and getting balls into the box.

    Good little period for Newcastle.

  18. Postpublished at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham 0-1 Ipswich

Tottenham have conceded the first goal in each of their last four Premier League home games, but have come back to win the last three.

No team has ever conceded first but gone on to win four consecutive home games in the competition before...

  19. Postpublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Newcastle

I'm not exaggerating when I say it has been all Newcastle since the opener.

They patiently build again and a deflected Joelinton cross is pushed away by Matz Sels.

Forest are weathering the storm pretty well.

  20. Postpublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham 0-1 Ipswich

Liam Delap gets the assist for that goal as the ball hit his back as he went up for a header with Cristian Romero before landing to Sam Szmodics for his third goal of the season.
