Mark Flekken has been a busy boy in this second half. Savinho drifts inside from the right-hand side and let's fly with his left foot but it floats wide.

He's full of confidence is the winger.

It's been really good tactics from Nottingham Forest, trying to stifle Liverpool's style of play.

Callum Hudson-Odoi scores a fantastic goal in the transition. Anthony Elanga linked up with Hudson-Odoi for the goal.

In off the left and he just bends it into the far bottom right hand corner. It is deserved from Forest. Liverpool have looked really flat in the second half.

Forest’s final ball has been so much better than Liverpool’s today. That’s the difference so far. As a Liverpool fan they deserved that.

    Chris

I don't know what's changed after the international break, but I wouldn't give any of Liverpool players more than 5/10 rating. It's like they've all just met.

    Fulham 1-0 West Ham

Fulham have wasted some half chances today, goodness me. Adama Traore has had plenty of them, heading over at the far post again.

  8. Postpublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 14 September

    Liverpool 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Liverpool have gone to a back three but they remain pretty flat, with 13 minutes of normal time remaining. A coupon buster if ever there was one?

On comes Brentford's big summer signing Fabio Carvalho. He replaces Vitaly Janelt.

  10. Postpublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 14 September

    Man City 2-1 Brentford

It feels like a goal could be coming for the home side as they win a 12th corner of the match.

"Shoooot!" is the cry from the supporters as Kyle Walker picks the ball up just outside the area. The England defender obliges with a powerful effort but he can't get it on target.

Nuno Espirito Santo gambled with his subs.

Anthony Elanga with a brilliant crossfield ball to Callum Hudson-Odoi, Conor Bradley lets him come inside but the finish is brilliant.

Hudson-Odoi bends the ball into the far corner and Allison is nowhere near it.

This is smash and grab from Forest.

Oh my. I don't feel like anybody was expecting that to land in the bottom corner when Callum Hudson-Odoi hit that.

It even looked like Alisson was letting it go.

The away fans are absolutely loving it obviously.

Arne Slot sits down for what seems like the first time to have a chat with one of his coaches.

  14. Grealish responds to Pep's jibepublished at 16:34 British Summer Time 14 September

    Man City 2-1 Brentford

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at the Etihad Stadium

A couple of minutes ago, Pep Guardiola gave Jack Grealish a sign he is not happy with him.

Grealish had gone down by the touchline under minimal pressure. The referee didn't think it was a foul and Guardiola was unimpressed, believing there had not been enough conviction in the England man to take what he felt was an opportunity to counter.

Grealish saw the gesture and responded. Guardiola repeated the gesture. On City's next attack, Grealish brought an excellent save out of Mark Flekken.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:32 British Summer Time 14 September

    Man City 2-1 Brentford

Mark Flekken bails Brentford out again! A thumping effort from Erling Haaland and it's a fingertip save from the Dutch shot-stopper to keep the deficit to one.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:32 British Summer Time 14 September

    Crystal Palace 1-2 Leicester

Leicester goalscorer Stephy Mavididi makes way for Abdul Fatawu in a like for like change.

This would be a massive win for the Foxes, their first of the season.

    Callum Hudson-Odoi (72 mins)

    BIG.

Liverpool did not heed the warning of that chance a few minutes ago as the two Forest subs combine. Anthony Elanga has the ball on the right and bends in a beauty of a ball behind the high Liverpool line to find Callum Hudson-Odoi on the left.

He dances inside Conor Bradley all too easily and then from the fringes of the area he curls a low shot into the corner. Allison didn't move!

  18. Postpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 14 September

    Man City 2-1 Brentford

Kevin de Bruyne is alert to the loose ball and he finds Jack Grealish in acres of space. The winger tries a curling effort which forces Mark Flekken into a good save at full stretch down to his left-hand side.

The big-spending hosts have brought on £25m Turkey midfielder Ferdi Kadioglu as they look to turn the tide.
