After all of Bayern's pressure Inter have a brilliant chance to take the lead.

It's Carlos Augusto overlaping on the left and he's put through by Alessandro Bastoni, but the Brazilian, who's never scored in Europe before, clatters his shot into the side-netting.

There's Jude Bellingham! He plays a great pass through the Arsenal defence for Kylian Mbappe.

He just has to curl it into the far corner but it's straight at David Raya. Should do better!

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:30 British Summer Time 8 April

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Inter Milan

First booking. Kim Min-jae is late on Lautaro Martinez, stepping on the Inter striker's toe on the halfway line. That's a yellow.

Myles Lewis-Skelly has been excellent so far. Incredible to think he was playing for the club's U21 side this time last year. He looks so comfortable on the ball.

Madrid, in that lovely grey third kit of theirs, are starting to look livelier on the attack.

Still not seen much of Jude Bellingham though.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORK - BAYERNpublished at 20:27 British Summer Time 8 April

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Inter Milan

Harry Kane hits the postImage source, Getty Images

    Surely?! No!

Inter shockingly give the ball away and Michael Olise is in.

The winger puts it on a plate for Harry Kane but the Englishman can only strike the outside of the post. Should've been 1-0. You'd have put your house on that.

  8. 'Timber did not need to be in that situation'published at 20:27 British Summer Time 8 April

    Arsenal 0-0 Real Madrid

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is frustrating me watching Jurrien Timber limping, he just did not need to be in that situation.

It was an obvious offsde, get your flag up so then players don't need to sprint for the ball and get involved in needless challenges.

Jurrien Timber is back on the pitch. Still not moving as freely as he would like.

Worry for Arsenal as Jurrien Timber is down receiving treatment on his ankle.

He's got a hefty limp on here.

Arsenal will be pleased with their start. They've pressed when they've had to and caused problems down both flanks.

They will have to keep the back door closed when they lose possession though. Real Madrid have looked dangerous on the counter a couple of times already.

  12. CLOSE!published at 20:24 British Summer Time 8 April

Mistake from Arsenal at the back and Vinicius Jr sets Kylian Mbappe free. He rushes through but smashes his strike over the top.

To spare his blushes, the offside flag is raised.

Bayern keep cranking up the pressure. Michael Olise's latest shot/cross is saved by a diving Yann Sommer and Harry Kane is off balance as he heads the rebound wide.

Bright start for Arsenal but Real showing sparks of danger. Arsenal need to make this early possession count while they're on the front foot...

  15. 'Looked a foul from Camavinga on Odegaard'published at 20:22 British Summer Time 8 April

    Arsenal 0-0 Real Madrid

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

If that had gone in it would not have been very well received around this stadium.

For me it looked a foul from Eduardo Camavinga on Martin Odegaard. He got the wrong side of him and tripped him, just clipped his heels.

    Arsenal 0-0 Real Madrid

Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior reactsImage source, Reuters

Madrid work it well on the edge of the box and find Vinicius Jr on the left of the box. He tries to bend it into the far corner but doesn't catch his strike well and out it goes for a goal kick.

  17. Postpublished at 20:21 British Summer Time 8 April

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Inter Milan

It's all Bayern. Leon Goretzka sends in Raphael Guerreiro but his effort is beaten away by Yann Sommer who's quickly off his line.

    Arsenal 0-0 Real Madrid

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

The thought of Arsenal dropping off and being cagey just hasn't happened. They have been aggressive and squeezed Real Madrid and put them under pressure at every moment.

  20. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 8 April

Myles Lewis-Skelly looks to feed Gabriel Martinelli down the left but there is the sliding Raul Asencio to mop up the danger.
