    Kilmarnock 0-0 Motherwell

    Wow, Motherwell spring to life!

Jack Vale is played in down the left and he does really well to win the ball and find Tony Watt, but the striker hits his shot straight at goalkeeper Robby McCrorie.

Paul McGinn replaces Liam Gordon at the back, meanwhile.

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Motherwell

There's a long delay at Rugby Park after an accidental clash of heads between Motherwell's Liam Gordon and Kilmarnock's Joe Wright.

Gordon is still holding his head, and Paul McGinn is warming up. It could be a change for Motherwell here.

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Motherwell

Is that you wondering whether Motherwell have improved after the break? The answer is no.

It's still all Kilmarnock. Fraser Murray is causing havoc down the right, though this time he fails to pick out a team-mate.

Celtic have had so much possession, but they haven't actually created a lot of clear-cut chances.

    HT: Kilmarnock 0-0 Motherwell

But the scoreline is all that matters at the end of the day and it's still goalless.

And you have to imagine Motherwell can surely only improve.

  17. HALF-TIME Kilmarnock 0-0 Motherwellpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 8 January

Derek McInnes literally bolts down the tunnel.

Kilmarnock have been completely dominant. Brad Lyons had a goal disallowed for offside, Marley Watkins had a golden chance, Joe Wright was denied by a brilliant save from Aston Oxborough, Lyons then hit the bar.

And I'm leaving out a few other Kilmarnock opportunities. And yet, it's goalless at Rugby Park.

    HT: Celtic 1-0 Dundee United

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

Celtic have been absolutely dominant in the opening half.

The only frustration for them will be it's only 1-0 and, perhaps, they haven't directly tested Jack Walton in goal enough given how on top they've been.

That's the only comfort for Jim Goodwin right now. They remain in it but have offered nothing at all in Celtic's half.

It's been a very difficult night for them so far.

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Motherwell

Okay, this is getting ridiculous now.

Another Fraser Murray corner. Brad Lyons gets up brilliantly, but his header crashes off the bar.

How are Motherwell still in this?!

  20. Postpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 8 January

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Motherwell

    Kilmarnock go close again.

Fraser Murray's corner causes havoc as Joe Wright gets a slight touch at the near post, but again Aston Oxborough is there to claw the ball away.
