I think Pep should have a go at Grealish more often because since that he has been brilliant.
Gvardiol chops in well off his left onto his right and finds the bottom corner.
That is probably the first time Grealish and Gvardiol have got the better of Trippier and Murphy on this side.

It's a composed finish by Josko Gvardiol to slot into the bottom corner after Jack Grealish got the better of Kieran Tripper on City's left.

You can't fault Pep's coaching, but Jack Grealish is a much poorer player now. £100m and he hasn't scored in almost a year.

Better from Manchester City but Ilkay Gundogan is surprised to see Newcastle awarded a goal-kick rather than another corner opportunity for his side.

A few words exchanged then between Fabian Schar and Jack Grealish.
The Manchester City man was jumping for the ball, Schar looked at the ball and the man, and nudged into Grealish, who responded by not getting his arm out of the way of his opponents' head as he landed.
Schar went down, then shouted at Grealish when he got up. Grealish responded. I think swear words were involved.
Referee Jarred Gillett rightly opted not to intervene.
