  1. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 2 August

    Barnet 0-2 Fleetwood

Barnet's top scorer from their promotion winning campaign last season Callum Stead is brought on just before the hour mark to a huge ovation from the home faithful.

He is joined on the pitch by Dennis Adeniran in a double swap for the hosts.

  2. 'Fleetwood in total control'published at 16:15 British Summer Time 2 August

    Barnet 0-2 Fleetwood

    Chris Peddy
    BBC Sport at The Hive

It has gone very quiet at The Hive as Fleetwood have begun to tighten their grip on this game.

Owen Evans, who had made the mistake to gift the visitors the lead, made a strong save to deny the curling effort from Ryan Graydon but could do nothing about Fleetwood captain Elliot Bonds' powerful follow-up.

The Cod Army are in total control as Callum Stead, Barnet's top scorer from last season, waits to come on by the touchline.

  3. Burton double leadpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 2 August

Charlie Webster seems keen to put forward a few early goal-of-the-season contenders today.

He put Burton Albion ahead against Mansfield with a rocket of a shot in the first half and has now followed it up with another stunner of a finish from outside the box to make it 2-0.

  4. 'No more than Pilgrims deserved'published at 16:14 British Summer Time 2 August

    Plymouth Argyle 1-2 Barnsley

    Brent Pilnick
    BBC Sport at Home Park

Well that goal has got the crowd going.

You have to say it is no more than the Pilgrims have deserved they have been the better side in this game

Caleb Watts, on his debut and playing out of position, has been one of the star players today and deserved a goal.

Can Tom Cleverley's men go on and get something from this game?

  5. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 2 August

    Bradford 2-0 Wycombe

There have been chances at both ends early on in the second half.

First Alex Lowry lashed an effort wide for Wycombe Wanderers, while Antoni Sarcevic sent a header a long way off target for Bradford.

    Caleb Watts (50 mins)

The home side back in it!

Caleb Watts, who had a goal ruled out for a foul at 0-0 and then saw a couple of efforts saved by Murphy Cooper, FINALLY has his debut goal.

It's a smart finish from close range after controlling it well.

  7. goal

GOAL: Barnet 0-2 Fleetwoodpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 2 August

    Elliot Bonds (50 mins)

The Cod Army double their advantage!

Captain Elliot Bonds leads by example by burying a left footed shot past Owen Evans after the ball ricochet back to him.

Evans got a hand to it but couldn't prevent it finding the roof of the net.

The visitors in total charge of this one.

  8. Under way at Rodney Paradepublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 2 August

    Newport County 0-0 Notts County

Following a medical emergency in the stand which required an air ambulance to land on the pitch, we are under way at Rodney Parade.

The match kicked off at 16:00 BST and so we are effectively an hour behind in that one.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 2 August

    Plymouth Argyle 0-2 Barnsley

The home side have made a change at the break as they look to turn this one around.

Brendan Wiredu, who scored an own goal on his debut, is replaced by experienced forward Jamie Patterson.

He's also making his Pilgrims debut and will hope he fares rather better.

Wigan Athletic are in a hurry to get out of sight against Northampton Town.

They immediately made it 3-0 after the break, as Fraser Murray nets his second of the day.

His effort takes a helpful deflection on the way to finding the far corner of the goal.

  11. Chairboys being bullied by Bantamspublished at 16:05 British Summer Time 2 August

    Bradford 2-0 Wycombe

    John Bennett
BBC Final Score reporter at Valley Parade

Bradford are winning the physical battle here.

They look bigger and stronger than Wycombe and the strategy of signing established League One players over the summer appears to be paying off for Graham Alexander’s side.

Plenty of passing from Wycombe but very little cutting edge. Manager Mike Dodds needs huge improvements from his players in the second-half.

  12. Second halfpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 2 August

We're starting to get back under way in the games across Leagues One and Two.

The match between Newport and Notts County has just started after a one hour delay because the Air Ambulance had to be called for a supporter who had been taken ill in the stands.

  13. Bees dominant but Fleetwood clinicalpublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 2 August

    HT: Fleetwood 1-0 Barnet

    Chris Peddy
    BBC Sport at The Hive

Barnet find themselves behind in their return to League Two after Will Davies capitalised on goalkeeper Owen Evans' poor mistake.

It feels a little harsh on the Bees, who played some neat passing moves through the likes of Rhys Browne, Idris Kanu and Ryan Glover.

They had 67% possession in the opening 45 minutes and carved out six chances.

But the visitors were on target with all five of their attempts, though new signing Davies won't have an easier finish than he did in the first half, robbing the ball from the Barnet keeper and rolling it in for 1-0.

The Bees' 18-goal top scorer from last season Callum Stead is on the bench today, it might not be too long before we see him in the second half.

  15. 'Absolutely fantastic from Bradford'published at 15:56 British Summer Time 2 August

    HT: Bradford 2-0 Wycombe

    Gary Jones
Former Bradford City captain on BBC Radio Leeds

The way Bradford started on the front foot was fantastic.

We wanted them to carry on the momentum from last season and they've done that really well.

    They've been aggressive and that's why they're 2-0 up.

It's been an absolutely fantastic performance.

Referee Declan Bourne will be pleased to see half-time here as this game threatens to boil over.

A controversial decision to not give a foul against Barnsley goalkeeper Murphy Connor on an onrushing Caleb Watts created a powderkeg of an atmosphere that boiled over soon after as Brendan Wiredu and Jack Shepherd had a scuffle in the Argyle box.

Both were booked as was Bradley Ibrahim moments later for protesting.

Barnsley have the lead, but Argyle have been incredibly unlucky with decisions against them and missed chances.

Bobby Pointon celebrates goalImage source, Rex Features

Two goals in the first 13 minutes from Antoni Sarcevic and Bobby Pointon has put Bradford in a commanding position at half-time.

And the Bantams could be leading by more after making an impressive start to their return to League One after a six-year absence.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 2 August

Tom Cleverley on the touchlineImage source, Rex Features

New Pilgrims boss Tom Cleverley is having a debut game to forget so far.

His charges are two goals down and the former England midfielder has been shown a yellow card for taking his protestations over a decision too far.

Barnsley ended last season in mixed form under Conor Hourihane but it's looking like they could be making the perfect start to this campaign.
