    MK Dons 0-0 Oldham

Nothing doing in this one in League Two so far.

    Barnet 0-1 Fleetwood

So far, so good for the visitors.

The Cod Army had to resist some early waves of pressure from Barnet before striking in the most bizarre circumstances.

Midway through the first-half Will Davies dispossessed Barnet keeper Owen Evans who was looking to play the ball out from the back.

Davies simply ran the ball into an empty net to open his account on debut.

A harsh lesson for Evans who, despite making a couple of good saves, has looked very shaky with the ball at his feet, causing himself problems time and time again.

  3. 'Latics are having a go'published at 15:46 British Summer Time 2 August

    MK Dons 0-0 Oldham

    Phil Brown
Former Hull manager on BBC Radio Manchester

Oldham are having a go and it looks like the MK Dons goalkeeper is having one of those false confidences when he wants to come for everything but I'm not so sure.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 2 August

    Plymouth Argyle 0-2 Barnsley

Not ALL going Barnsley's way as they're forced into a change before the break.

Marc Roberts has to make way and Jonathan Bland is on in his stead.

  5. Any officials in the stands?published at 15:45 British Summer Time 2 August

    Shrewsbury 0-0 Bromley

There has been a large stoppage at the Croud Meadow as the lineman has pulled up with an injury.

A new linesman has been found, in the form of the fourth official, and following a PA announcement asking for a qualified referee, we are back under way.

Not sure who will be holding up the board adding on the extra time for the first period but expect it to be a large number as the players were off for approximately 12 minutes in that one!

  6. Postpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 2 August

    Bradford 2-0 Wycombe

I want to say Joe Wright has gone close to making it 3-0 for Bradford, but just everything that could deny him a goal has just happened.

His header was tipped onto the crossbar, but at the same time the referee blew his whistle for a foul.

And in the background, the flag also went up for offside.

  7. Postpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 2 August

    Plymouth 0-2 Barnsley

BIG save in the Barnsley goal by debutant Murphy Cooper to keep out Caleb Watts' header.

Approaching the 40th minute of this game between one of the promotion favourites and a team looking to consolidate after winning promotion last season.

No shots on target so far.

  9. Postpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 2 August

    Barnet 0-1 Fleetwood

Another chance for the visitors as a long ball puts Will Davies in and he looks to nod the ball over the out rushing Owen Evans but, this time, Evans' positioning saves him and he makes a comfortable catch.

Fraser Murray celebrates scoringImage source, Rex Features

Fraser Murray opens his Wigan Athletic scoring account in his first game since joining them from Kilmarnock in the summer.

He meets a cross from Joe Hungbo and finds the bottom corner with a cool finish against Northampton Town.

At the New York Stadium in Rotherham, Sam Nombe has scored his and the hosts' second goal of the day to put the Millers 2-0 up against Port Vale.

And it has only got worse for the Valiants, as Jaheim Headley has been shown a straight red card for violent conduct after clashing with Nombe.

    Plymouth Argyle 0-2 Barnsley

    Brent Pilnick
    BBC Sport at Home Park

Two shots, 2-0. Barnsley have been a model of efficiency this half.

It has been pretty much all Plymouth Argyle, but a couple of mistakes have cost the hosts a second goal.

A poor clearance by Brendan Wiredu was equally poorly headed away by Victor Palsson and Adam Phillips' superb volley left Luca Ashby-Hammond with no chance of saving.

It's the Barnsley fans who are making all the noise right now.

Kadeem Harris celebrates scoringImage source, PA

Kadeem Harris has made a memorable debut for Salford City, scoring this time at the right end to cancel out his early own goal against Crewe Alexandra to level the scores at one apiece.

Meanwhile, Tranmere Rovers have opened their account for the season via Connor Jennings' close-range strike away to Colchester United.

  13. 'It was like time stood still'published at 15:32 British Summer Time 2 August

    Plymouth 0-2 Barnsley

    Andy Giddings
    Sports Editor, BBC Sheffield

It was like time stood still. Adam Phillips took aim and fired it in.

Well worth the long trip in the sunshine.

The Reds fans are chanting "we are top of the league" to our right.

  14. goal

GOAL: Plymouth Argyle 0-2 Barnsleypublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 2 August

    Adam Phillips (30 mins)

From bad to worse for the relegated hosts!

Barnsley midfielder Adam Phillips crashes a superb volley into the corner after the home side make a total mess of clearing a ball forward.

  15. 'That mistake had been coming'published at 15:28 British Summer Time 2 August

    Barnet 0-1 Fleetwood

    Chris Peddy
    BBC Sport at The Hive

Owen Evans will not want to see this again.

The Barnet goalkeeper has been caught on the ball a couple of times already and this time he's punished for it.

He takes too long on the edge of his area and Fleetwood new boy Will Davies steals the ball and has all the time in the world to jog through and score his first goal for the club.

Evans has since made a strong save to deny Mark Helm but that mistake had been coming.

Newport v Notts County (kick-off delayed until 16:00 BST)

Just a reminder that Newport v Notts County in League Two has been delayed until 16:00 BST after Rodney Parade had to be evacuated so an air ambulance could land.

A supporter has been taken away after falling ill in the stand.

We'll keep you updated if we hear any more on their condition.

It took Burton Albion months to get up and running last season, but Charlie Webster has ensured they have started their latest campaign with a bang.

He unleashes a rocket of a shot to put them 1-0 up against a Mansfield Town side managed by long-time former Brewers boss Nigel Clough.

Meanwhile, an own goal from Finley Burns has put Lincoln City 1-0 up against Reading.

  18. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 2 August

    Plymouth 0-1 Barnsley

The home side look to get back into it but Caleb Watts, who had a goal ruled out for a foul in the build up earlier, sees his shot deflect wide.

The Pilgrims have had just a shade over 30% of possession so far.

  19. goal

GOAL: Barnet 0-1 Fleetwoodpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 2 August

    Will Davies (22 mins)

An absolute calamity from Barnet goalkeeper Owen Evans!

Evans takes four touches in an attempt to play out the back, the final of which is far too heavy and he is disposed by Will Davies who has the simplest of tasks to run the ball into an empty net.

There is playing out from the back and then there is that - awful start for life in League Two for Evans. Davies will not score an easier goal this season.

Port Vale haven't had the start that fellow promoted League Two side Bradford have enjoyed so far.

They find themselves 1-0 down at Rotherham, with Sam Nombe putting the hosts ahead there.

Meanwhile, Stevenage have restored parity against Blackpool with Jamie Reid managing to get onto a poor back pass before rounding the keeper to slot home.
