  1. goal

GOAL: Charlton 1-0 Sheff Wedpublished at 15:20 BST

    Sonny Carey (17 mins)

    Breakthrough at The Valley!

Charlton had been on top since kick-off and take the lead when Tyreece Campbell finds Sonny Carey in space. His shot is saved by Ethan Horvath but he is quick to react and slam in the loose ball.

  2. Postpublished at 15:19 BST

    West Brom 0-0 Preston

In-form Preston have a spell of pressure which ends with Ben Whiteman shooting from range and stinging the gloves of Josh Griffiths.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:19 BST

    Norwich 0-0 Bristol City

Jakov Medic is one of four changes made by Norwich boss Liam Manning today.

His first meaningful contribution is to be cautioned by referee Tom Nield.

Josh Sargent then gets a shot away for the home side but Radek Vitek is easily behind it.

  4. 'Set-pieces causing issues for Coventry'published at 15:18 BST

    Coventry 0-0 Blackburn

    Kevin Gallacher
Former Blackburn striker on BBC Radio Lancashire

These set-pieces can be a problem for Coventry.

We've had shots but we've not tested the keeper just yet.

  5. Postpublished at 15:17 BST

    Stoke 0-0 Wrexham

A decent chance for Wrexham and Kieffer Moore.

The Welsh striker gets his head to a corner but it's straight at Viktor Johansson in the home goal.

He probably should have done better.

  6. Postpublished at 15:15 BST

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Watford

Imran Louza lets fly from long range for the away side but it goes over the bar.

    Very even start so far.

  7. Postpublished at 15:15 BST

    Charlton 0-0 Sheff Wed

Charlton have started the brighter, and could have gone ahead but Max Lowe did well to turn behind Reece Burke's effort.

  8. Postpublished at 15:14 BST

    Stoke 0-0 Wrexham

Not a lot to raise the pulse at the bet365 so far.

Stoke have won 92% of their league games against Wrexham.

Only Manchester United's 94% win ratio over Wigan is better in 10 or more meetings between teams.

This is also the first league game between Stoke and Wrexham since April 2002.

Told you it was a quiet start...

  9. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 0-1 Hullpublished at 15:13 BST

    Jack Robinson (11 mins OG)

Hull begin the mountainous task of beating Blues at home with an early goal.

Oli McBurnie's fine form has been uninterrupted by the international break as he threads a ball into Kyle Joseph.

The forward sees his strike saved by Blues keeper James Beadle but no matter because the ball rolls into the net after coming off Jack Robinson.

  10. 'Blackburn giving it a go'published at 15:11 BST

    Coventry 0-0 Blackburn

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

Blackburn are giving it a go, they've come out confidently and they've caused a problem or two already.

I think this could also give Coventry an opportunity to break and get some chances themselves. I'll be interested to see if they keep this up throughout the whole game.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:09 BST

    Charlton 0-0 Sheff Wed

Gabriel Otegbayo has got a very early booking for the Owls for taking out Sonny Carey as Wednesday start on the back foot in south London.

  12. Postpublished at 15:09 BST

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Watford

No major goalmouth action at Bramall Lane so far but just to mark that the game was paused in the second minute as the fans applauded in memory of former Sheffield United defender George Baldock who died on 9 October last year aged 31.

  13. 'Warm welcome for Gracia'published at 15:09 BST

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Watford

    Adam Cottier
BBC Final Score at Bramall Lane

A really warm welcome it appeared from the Watford fans as Javi Gracia emerged from the tunnel.

They clearly still hold him in such high regard after what he did in leading Watford to a respectable Premier League position and the FA Cup final six years ago.

Out of curiosity I checked how many men have been in charge of a Watford team in the last 20 years. I counted 24! And Gracia isn’t the only one to have been and come back.

The Spaniard was one of the more successful ones in that time and fans’ backing from the start can only help.

There’s another former Watford manager in the opposing dugout. Of course there is!

  14. Postpublished at 15:08 BST

    Coventry 0-0 Blackburn

I've got my typing fingers at the ready for the action at the CBS this afternoon.

Coventry's goal scoring has been prolific but it's actually the visitors who have a few early sights at the net with Yuki Ohashi and Lewis Miller both seeing efforts blocked.

  15. Postpublished at 15:08 BST

    Norwich 0-0 Bristol City

Scott Twice lines up an early shot for Bristol City but it's into the side netting.

Both sides could do with a win today and it's started promisingly.

  16. Postpublished at 15:07 BST

    West Brom 0-0 Preston

Mikey Johnston has fizzed a shot wide for Albion in a fairly quiet start at The Hawthorns.

  17. Postpublished at 15:03 BST

    Norwich 0-0 Bristol City

The visitors' Rob Atkinson has to be alive to some early Norwich pressure as he prevents Matej Jurasek going clean through.

A promising start from the troubled Canaries.

  18. Postpublished at 15:03 BST

    Coventry 0-0 Blackburn

Fit-again Victor Torp is back in the starting XI for the Sky Blues.

He replaces Jamie Allen, while Blackburn have changed three as Yuri Riberio, Todd Cantwell and Harry Pickering make way.

Scott Wharton, Axel Henriksson and Yuki Ohashi are three to get the starting nod.

  19. Postpublished at 15:01 BST

    Norwich 0-0 Bristol City

Norwich are searching for their first home points of the season and boss Liam Manning has made four changes from that East Anglian derby defeat by Ipswich.

Jose Cordoba is missing while Kellen Fisher, Mirko Topic and Ante Crnac are on the bench.

In come Jakov Medic, Emiliano Marcondes, Matej Jurasek and Jeffrey Schlupp.

Mark Sykes is replaced by Ross McCrorie in the Bristol City line up.

  20. Postpublished at 15:00 BST

    Stoke 0-0 Wrexham

Stoke are without Bae Junho today and Lewis Baker starts.

Wrexham go with the same side which started the 1-1 draw with Birmingham last time out.
