GOAL Stoke 1-1 Portsmouthpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 2 October

    Mark O'Mahony (29 mins)

Portsmouth's Mark O'Mahony celebratesImage source, PA Media

His first Pompey goal... out of absolutely nothing.

Will Norris starts the move from the Stoke free-kick, bowling out to Josh Murphy who blazes down the left, bundles past two defenders and then squares into the box for Mark O'Mahony to slot home.

Narcis Pelach thought he was 2-0 up moments ago, now it's all-square.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 2 October

    Stoke 1-0 Portsmouth

Zak Swanson follows Lane into the book after mis-timing another challenge on Junhoe Bae not far from the edge of the box. The free-kick comes to nothing, however... for Stoke at least...

  3. CLOSE!published at 20:13 British Summer Time 2 October

    Preston North End 0-0 Watford

Milutin Osmajic gets his head on the end of a lovely cross from Robbie Brady but Watford keeper Jonathan Bond is alive to it to keep the scoreline goalless.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 2 October

    Stoke 1-0 Portsmouth

Pompey's Paddy Lane goes into the book for an ill-judged and ill-timed lunge on Lewis Koumas.

This free-kick is 30-plus yards out and this time Tom Cannon smashes the ball a good few yards over Will Norris' bar. Ambitious, but at least he's confident, I guess.

The visitors are cutting frustrated figures at present.

  5. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 2 October

    Stoke 1-0 Portsmouth

After Tom Cannon earlier opened his Potters account, Sam Gallagher thought he had his first Stoke goal too as he latches onto a defence splitting pass and applies a fine finish from the left to beat Will Norris into the far corner, only for the flag to go up and the celebrations to be cut short.

  6. Postpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 2 October

    Bristol City 0-0 Sheff Wed

Quiet start at Ashton Gate but Bristol City's Yu Hirakawa is looking lively on the breakaway.

He's brought down by Wednesday midfielder Marvin Johnson, who has some harsh words for his sleeping teammates.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 2 October

    Sheffield United 0-0 Swansea

Blades talisman Gus Hamer has his name taken for the fourth time this season - yep, fourth - after a trip on Josh Key who had spun away from him and was threatening to break into the Blades half.

Not a polished night from the Blades so far. They look a little nervy at the back, too.

  8. Postpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 2 October

    Stoke 1-0 Portsmouth

Stoke spring forward off the back of a quick bowl out from keeper Viktor Johansson from a Pompey corner and the move ends with Lewis Koumas whipping in a dangerous cross from the right which the Pompey defence fail to cut out, only for Sam Gallagher to mis his kick, almost in surprise, with Tom Cannon lurking with intent just behind him.

  9. Postpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 2 October

    Preston North End 0-0 Watford

Preston North End's Andrew Hughes challenged Watford's Edo KayembeImage source, PA Media

Preston's Andrew Hughes puts in a challenge not too far away from the six-yard box and concedes a free kick.

It's tamely sent the way of Kwadwo Baah but he only manages to get himself a corner.

Edo Kayembe sends it directly towards goal but Freddie Woodman makes the save to relieve the pressure.

It's a great strike from Tom Cannon but I have to question the goalkeeper's positioning.

    I'd be disappointed with that.

  11. CLOSE!published at 20:04 British Summer Time 2 October

    Stoke 1-0 Portsmouth

A glimpse of goal for Pompey as Harvey Blair finds some space down the right to whip in a fierce cross which is met by defender Tom McIntyre who can only divert the ball past the angle of post and bar from 10 yards out.

Something to cheer the travelling faithful, at least.

  12. Postpublished at 20:02 British Summer Time 2 October

    Sheffield United 0-0 Swansea

We've given the unbeaten Blades the big build-up but Swansea have taken seven points from their past three games and it's the visitors who are on the front foot at the moment with a series of set-pieces into the United box.

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:00 British Summer Time 2 October

    Bristol City 0-0 Sheff Wed

The 8pm game has kicked off at Ashton Gate.

The home fans are sitting comfortably in their seat knowing they haven't tasted defeat there for some time. Can Sheffield Wednesday get them feeling nervous?

  15. goal

GOAL Stoke 1-0 Portsmouthpublished at 19:58 British Summer Time 2 October

    Tom Cannon (13 mins)

    A very dangerous area...

Tom Cannon fires his first Potters goal as he whips a 25 yard free-kick low around the wall and into the bottom corner past the despairing dive of Will Norris.

The keeper might not be too thrilled with any of that, in truth.

A perfect start for Stoke who have flown out of the blocks and now have a lead to show for it.

  16. Postpublished at 19:58 British Summer Time 2 October

    Stoke 0-0 Portsmouth

Marlon Pack clatters into Sam Gallagher to concede a free-kick in a dangerous area, 25 yards out and just to the left of goal..

Gallagher is playing in that No10 hole behind Cannon and causing havoc early on.

  17. Postpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 2 October

    Sheffield United 0-0 Swansea

There is also another game involving a side in red and white stripes going on and we've had the first shot of the game as Blades debutant Tyrese Campbell fires in a 20-yard drive which is gathered low to his right by Swans keeper Lawrence Vigouroux.

  18. Wednesday look to storm Ashton Gate strongholdpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 2 October

Sheffield Wednesday clocked just their second win of the season on Saturday with a 3-2 victory over a previously-unbeaten West Bromwich Albion side.

It may give the Owls the boost they needed, currently sitting 19th in the table and heading south to visit Bristol City, who possess just two points more.

The Robins, however, have a weapon to use in the form of midfielder Scott Twine - a man who has scored a goal in every single league appearance he's had against Sheffield Wednesday.

It'll also help Liam Manning's men that they haven't suffered a single loss at Ashton Gate so far this season and, in fact, are on an eight-match home league unbeaten streak.

Can Sheffield Wednesday yet again break an undefeated run?

  19. 'Pompey just surviving'published at 19:55 British Summer Time 2 October

    Stoke 0-0 Portsmouth

    Guy Whittingham
Former Portsmouth manager on BBC Radio Solent

Portsmouth really have been caught out by Stoke's shape and can't seem to get a hold of the game.

It's just about survival for Pompey right now.

  20. Postpublished at 19:55 British Summer Time 2 October

    Stoke 0-0 Portsmouth

Sam Gallagher wins another corner, but wants a penalty, as the back-tracking Marlon Pack stretches in to poke the ball right as Gallagher tried to get a shot off on the swivel.

Just a corner, and Gallagher hauls himself up before seeing the corner swung high over everyone's head.
