    Preston 0-1 Millwall

And just like that, Millwall are now only four points off the play-off spots as things stand following Mihailo Ivanovic's excellent free-kick to give them the lead.

You've got to love this division.

Despite no obvious contact, Morecambe goalkeeper Ryan Schofield has gone off with an injury, making way for Harry Burgoyne who was put straight into action stopping a low driven shot. Doncaster still lead 1-0 there.

Meanwhile, Colchester continue to press Notts County, who have been forced back into their own half for a large portion of the game since getting the opening goal with County happy to just pass it around.

League Two's top goalscorer Matty Stevens hasn't found a way to break down the Fleetwood defence, with AFC Wimbledon having the only shot on target of the first half. 0-0 in Lancashire.

    Mihailo Ivanovic (40 mins)

Millwall have broken the deadlock in some style!

The Lions win a free-kick about 25 yards out and Mihailo Ivanovic curls an absolute beauty over the wall and past the flat-footed Freddie Woodman in the Preston goal.

That's a fifth league goal of the season for the 20-year-old and he won't score many better than that.

  4. CLOSE!published at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Birmingham 0-0 Bradford

If the opening six minutes is anything to go by, Bradford might be in for a long night.

Bradford defender Bradley Halliday is booked after four of those minutes, meaning he will be up against it all game. Birmingham get their first chance of the night shortly afterwards, with Alex Pattison blocking Willum Willumsson's effort in the penalty area.

The Bantams haven't completed a pass, Birmingham have made 40. Gulp.

    Birmingham 0-0 Bradford

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

I've noticed early on that Willum Willumsson is getting a lot of space in that middle so far.

    Bradford aren't picking him up.

There will be opportunities for Blues if they open it up and find him.

  6. Orient level at Wrexhampublished at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    League One update

Wrexham had been keeping Leyton Orient at arms-length but Charlie Kelman has found an equaliser.

The visitors get to the dead-ball line down the right and a low cross finds Kelman who spins 12 yards out and drills a low right-foot shot into the left corner to make it 1-1.

Meanwhile at Shrewsbury, their goalkeeper Jamal Blackman rushes out of his area to head clear, doesn't get enough on it, Josh Koroma picks it up for Huddersfield 25 yards out and curls a lob towards goal - but it's headed off the line!

And Dale Taylor has put Wigan ahead at Crawley with a close-range header.

    Preston 0-0 Millwall

Ali McCann tries to fire a ball across the face of goal for Preston but it takes a deflection and squirms through to Millwall keeper Lukas Jensen.

The Lilywhites have seen a lot of the ball but are struggling to carve through the Lions in open play.

Preston v Millwall match actionImage source, Rex Features

Preston are the Championship's draw specialists with 15 so far this season. Only West Bromwich Albion have had as many. Millwall have had 12.

Anyone fancy being a hero tonight to stop adding another to those tallies?

  9. Postpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Preston 0-0 Millwall

Luke Cundle hammers a free-kick into the wall for Millwall and it goes behind for a corner, which Preston keeper Freddie Woodman comes out to claim.

A reminder that a win for either side tonight would move them to just four points off the play-off spots.

  10. Postpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Birmingham 0-0 Bradford

After a brief delay (thanks to the Birmingham traffic), and a terrific light show, we are under way at St Andrew's for the EFL Trophy semi-final.

Will the League One leaders make it to Wembley again? Or can League Two Bradford spring a shock?

  11. Postpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Preston 0-0 Millwall

Some decent chances for both sides at Deepdale but we're still all square as we approach the half-hour mark.

Mihailo Ivanovic has headed against the bar for Millwall and Liam Lindsay had an effort cleared off the line for Preston.

The Lions have now won a free-kick in a dangerous position on the edge of the penalty area.

The first action of the night for Fleetwood was a yellow card for Rhys Bennett after after a foul on Josh Kelly, with still no sign of a goal against AFC Wimbledon.

Despite Notts County's early goal, Colchester are the ones pressing forward, with the best chances since the goal. The County defence really putting a shift in to keep the U's out.

Morecambe's first proper chance of the game only brought them a corner. A shot from Harvey Macadam sent the Doncaster's defence scrambling but Teddy Sharman-Lowe managed to collect. Rovers still lead 1-0.

  13. OFF THE LINE!published at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Preston 0-0 Millwall

Preston are so close to finding the breakthrough...

The hosts win a corner and Stefan Thordarson swings it to the far post. It's bundled towards goal and Liam Lindsay stabs it on target but Femi Azeez clears it off the line for Millwall.

It then drops to Ryan Porteous who skies the rebound over the bar.

  14. Wrexham in frontpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    League One latest

Wrexham have taken the lead against Leyton Orient. Ollie Rathbone made a perfectly-timed run to the back post and met a corner from the right with a right-foot volley.

And almost a goal for Wycombe too as a cross from the left is headed towards the far post but Bristol Rovers scramble on their own line just about clear. Then a left-foot strike from Cameron Humphreys that's well saved down low at the right-hand post.

Burton have gone even closer at Stevenge as they hit the bar twice in 30 seconds! First JJ McKiernan with a header that bounced back into play. It was cleared, reclaimed by the Brewers and another cross fell to Jon Dadi Bodvarsson who flicked it against the bar again.

    Ged Scott
    BBC Sport at St Andrew's

    We've had a Iights show.

    We've got a late kick-off.

We have a 29,000 capacity full house at St Andrew's.

Now, after all the lights and cameras, it's time for action.

Can League One table-toppers Birmingham City justify their obvious tag as favourites against League Two Bradford City tonight and reach Wembley in this competition for the third time?

It's all about keeping their cool - and, in tonight's sub-zero temperatures, that shouldn't be an issue for either side.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Preston 0-0 Millwall

    Millwall almost take the lead!

A looping ball to the far post from the left touchline by Joe Bryan comes all the way to Mihailo Ivanovic who heads back across goal and his effort hits the top of the bar on the way behind.

First goal of the night goes to Lincoln as Paudie O'Connor heads in a corner at the near post from very close range to give them the lead at Mansfield.

The away side also with the brighter start at Wrexham as Leyton Orient fashion the first opening. Charlie Kelman drives across the defence and shoots left-footed but it was always climbing over the bar.

  19. Postpublished at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Preston 0-0 Millwall

Millwall are the joint-third lowest scoring team in the Championship this season with 32 goals. Preston haven't fared considerably better with 34.

Perhaps a more tactical battle is set to play out here? Very tightly contested so far, as you'd probably expect between these two.

  20. Postpublished at 19:52 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February
