It's really important that Unai Emery calms down. He is already on a yellow card and it is crucial that he doesn't get a red. If he is asking his players to behave then he has to as well. They need him for the second leg.

Unai Emery is very animated on the sideline, a bit too animated for the referee's liking and he is booked.

I think the ball was going past the post anyway but Tyrone Mings was incredible there. He stopped it diverting into the inside of the post and that surely prevented a goal.

BIG let off for Aston Villa. Hans Vanaken rises unmarked to meet a cross and he really should score, but he directs his header just wide of the far post.

Marco Asensio is incredible. He loves that position on the penalty spot. Just sits there and waits for the cut back. He catches the half volley brilliantly and it is a good save. Then Matty Cash doesn't get it right on the follow up.

The subs immediately have an impact as Jacob Ramsey squares to Marco Asensio inside the box and the on-loan PSG man strikes first time but Simon Mignolet pushes away well.

Normally you only see that many changes when the manager is fuming.

With these changes I am pretty sure that the calm and controlled play is not what Unai Emery wanted at half time.

Unai Emery rings the changes. On come Marco Asensio, Matty Cash, Jacob Ramsey and Boubacar Kamara.

Marcus Rashford, John McGinn, Leon Bailey and Axel Disasi are the four replaced.

Aston Villa are not taking any risks. It does feel they'd be more than happy with the draw and rather than take a risk with an attack they work the ball back into their own half.

Marcus Rashford sends a ball into the box but puts too much on it and it is an easy catch for Simon Mignolet.

Hans Vanaken plays a good ball to Ferran Jutgla inside the box. The striker turns but the ball deflects off him and a Villa player to bounce into Emi Martinez's hands.

Leon Bailey is getting a bit more of the ball at the start of the second half but Villa need to isolate him against his full back. Just allow him to go against the full back and he will get by him.

Borussia Dortmund make four changes to the side that beat St Pauli 2-0 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

English winger Jamie Gittens returns to the starting line-up along with Julian Brandt while Julian Ryerson and Daniel Svensson are preferred at full-back.

For the first 10 minutes Aston Villa looked like they could go on and claim a first-leg win but it has not been like that at all since as Raphael Onyedika tests Emi Martinez with a really well-struck long-range strike.

I think Villa would be more than happy with leaving here with a draw.
