  3. 'Massive breakthrough'published at 16:13 British Summer Time

    Burnley 1-0 Sunderland

    Glenn Murray
Former Brighton striker on Final Score

There's a bit of relief around Burnley after that goal because Sunderland were the better team in the first half without any doubt. This is a massive breakthrough, they cannot get beaten today, it is that important.

  4. 'Brilliant finish from Cullen'published at 16:13 British Summer Time

    Burnley 1-0 Sunderland

    Charlie Adam
Former Scotland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

You need your captain to step up and he has done that.

Josh Cullen bends it into the bottom corner. What a brilliant finish.

He is not known for his goalscoring ability but he showed great quality there.

Good early second half goal, just what this crowd and stadium needed.

Tom, Canada: It’s exhausting being thrown back and forth with the lack of consistency on interference with the keeper. If that’s too much of a bump from Collins, then Saliba gave Bayindir too much of a bump last week against United. Either neither goal should have counted or both should have. Personally, I think both are goals and keepers are too protected.

  6. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time

    Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves

Bournemouth work the free-kick on the edge of the box nicely and it's Marcus Tavernier with a low drive straight into the arms of Jose Sa.

  7. Postpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time

    Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves

It's a lovely ball through the defence by David Brooks to find the run of Evanilson and Toti must feel as though he has to do something before Wolves go two down.

It's not 2-0 but Wolves are down to 10. Far from ideal.

  8. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time

    Brentford 1-0 Aston Villa

Evanilson races through and Toti gives him a hard shove in the back and down the striker goes.

  10. goal

GOAL - Burnley 1-0 Sunderlandpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time

    Josh Cullen (47 mins)

The captain gives the hosts the lead!

It is a lovely finish by Josh Cullen, guiding the ball into the bottom corner.

There is going to be a check by VAR for a possible offside in the build up... but the goal stands!

  11. CLOSE!published at 16:08 British Summer Time

    Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves

And that double change almost pays off with Hugo Bueno delivering a lovely ball on the head of Jhon Arias to nod wide.

A real chance for Wolves to pull themselves level. Should be doing better.

As a Villa fan, I really can't see how the 2nd Brentford goal has been disallowed. We haven't been clinical enough in every area of the pitch, and deserve to be 2 down.

  16. 'We will find the right balance'published at 16:04 British Summer Time

    FT: Man City 0-2 Tottenham

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to TNT Sports: "I had a feeling the performance was a little bit better than the result. Individually our simple things with the ball were missing. They scored the second at the end of the first half. We have to play in a different way to the way we usually play. The result is not good but there is a long, long way [to go] and we will learn from that."

Difficult against Spurs: "It happens a lot with Spurs, they punish us always in that position. I'm not going to say Spurs are better with Thomas [Frank] or better with Ange [Postecoglou]. Spurs have always been a good team and last season they were and this season they are again."

On Ait-Nouri's injury: "I don't know, I didn't speak with the doctors yet."

On having enough players: "We have to have enough players to play every three. four days in this demanding league."

On facing Brighton next: "We have seven days so we will recover, analyse and talk. We will find the right balance."

  17. 'We were solid and had a top mentality'published at 16:03 British Summer Time

    FT: Man City 0-2 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank, speaking to TNT Sports: "I think this is one of the most difficult places to go to in the Premier League. They came with everything and I think before our goal and them dominating us, they were more on top of the game.

"We stayed in it. We were solid and had a top mentality.

"After the first goal, more or less we were the better side.

"I found a strong mentality in the players. A group of players who had been through a tough season and ended on a high. Great mentality in many ways and then we had to build on that.

"On our goal kicks we tried to play out and that was quite successful at times, but the big thing is how we press from a goal kick - we go man to man and that is big for me."

On Richarlison: "Again, Richy performed well today. Work ethic, and everything was very good about it. We need two good strikers - we're going to play a lot of games. Richy is now starting, he just needs to keep his shirt."

  18. 'Both teams have had moments'published at 16:02 British Summer Time

    HT: Burnley 0-0 Sunderland

    Charlie Adam
Former Scotland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Really good play from Hannibal Mejbri, good play from Burnley.

Jaidon Anthony would have expected himself to do better.

It has been a good half for 0-0, both teams have had moments and there has been good energy to the game.

Burnley have had really good moments with the ball but they could move the ball forward a bit quicker.

  19. 'Is Trafford really top drawer?'published at 16:01 British Summer Time

    FT: Man City 0-2 Tottenham

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on Football Focus

City were well beaten today. I've got to say I'm not sure about the goalkeeper situation. Is James Trafford really top drawer? If it's a choice between Trafford and Ederson, I'm going with Ederson. It was poor for the goal, a weak pass into Dias, not even passing onto the right side, and that absolutely killed them with Spurs going in 2-0 at half time.

If the Arsenal goal was allowed to stand, the Brentford goal should. Inconsistency in applying the rules of the game
