    A lot of this first half has been bitty and slow.

    Singh said: "We have a lot of frustration.

    "When we sit back later we should be proud. We have taken a top six team to extra time.

    "The scrappiest goal they are going to score [for the first goal]. The boys are unbelievable and we had chances, that's the frustrating thing.

    "They are such great footballers. It shows the difference with the elite level and semi-professional."

    McGlinchey said: "Immensely proud of the lads. Amazing day and a shame we couldn't get over the line."

    On Spurs' first goal: "With the quality of player you think they're going to have a shot, clever from them - that's the difference.

    "Back to work lecturing tomorrow - back to the day job unfortunately."
