"We were not good enough for 90 minutes - quite a few of us were not at the races today.

"We have all played on these pitches when we were younger, so it is not different for us. Sometimes in football, it happens, these games are not going to be easy - the fans were brilliant.

"The quality shone through in the last 15 minutes our fitness showed and nothing to take away from them for what they did in 90 minutes.

"This is what the FA Cup is all about. Get to see all the clubs in English football - it is nice, and the fans were brilliant.

"It was tough, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

"We like to do it the hard way."

Tamworth's player of the match Hayden Hollis, speaking to ITV: "So disappointing the manner we gave the first goal away. Soon as they score it's always going to be a long afternoon.

"That's the run come to an end and we have to focus on staying in the league.

"The pitch, the fans was a leveller for us. Everyone gave everything and maybe we died in extra time."

Another Arsenal injury?

It was a lot to ask to whip that ball over the wall and dip it past the goalkeeper.

A lot of this first half has been bitty and slow.

Arsenal have had a lot of the ball but not causing many problems.

Tamworth players Jas Singh and Tom McGlinchey, speaking to ITV.

Singh said: "We have a lot of frustration.

"When we sit back later we should be proud. We have taken a top six team to extra time.

"The scrappiest goal they are going to score [for the first goal]. The boys are unbelievable and we had chances, that's the frustrating thing.

"They are such great footballers. It shows the difference with the elite level and semi-professional."

McGlinchey said: "Immensely proud of the lads. Amazing day and a shame we couldn't get over the line."

On Spurs' first goal: "With the quality of player you think they're going to have a shot, clever from them - that's the difference.

"Back to work lecturing tomorrow - back to the day job unfortunately."

Stockport striker Kyle Wootton stretches to reach a cross and loop a header just over the top.

The corner eventually comes in and Manchester United keeper Altay Bayindir makes an easy catch.

Two minutes until half-time and United haven't been troubled.
