Another Arsenal corner. Another long wait.

From an Arsenal perspective it will be worth it if this goes in.

All those criticising Arsenal for taking ages to deliver goal kicks etc. Remember, it's a different kind of ball. These things take a lot of getting used to, you know.

Kieran Trippier bends in an inswinging corner and nearly catches out Bromley keeper Grant Smith, he has to move his feet to get back and claw that one out! Great delivery.

Seems Arsenal have gone backwards. We've not really pushed on much after getting Declan Rice. We have been sub par all season long and fortunate to be where they are in the league. Crashing out of all comps are back on the cards and back to the later Wenger days it seems.

Arsenal remind me of Italian teams in Serie A. Slow and boring to watch, winning games on set plays and the odd mistake from opponents, and always involved in the dark arts of the game.

    Ipswich 3-0 Bristol Rovers

That was a really bad error from the assistant referee. The ball clearly flicked off the heel of Ali Al-Hamadi before running through to Jack Taylor - who was stood nearly two yards offside - to score Ipswich's third.

Where is VAR when you need it?

Gabriel Jesus covers his face with his shirt as he is stretchered off. He fell awkwardly after that coming together with Bruno Fernandes. Not what Arsenal need with the injuries they have already.

Bruno Fernandes was fouled in the Arsenal box, he is absolutely certain that he was clipped.

He's absolutely raging and he was fouled. Gabriel Jesus slips and clips Fernandes.

I do have sympathy for him because I do think it was a free-kick.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

Off goes Gabriel Jesus, on comes Raheem Sterling who has never scored against Manchester United.

    Arsenal's injury crisis continues.

Gabriel Jesus is still down after catching Bruno Fernandes. A stretcher has been called for. This doesn't look good.

Bruno Fernandes and the Manchester United bench are rightfully frustrated there.

Gabriel Jesus does tread on the United captains boot on the edge of the box.

However, Fernandes reaction gets him a yellow card as he throws his boot on the ground twice in anger at not getting a free kick.

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is booked for dissent.

The visitors burst forward and Noussair Mazraoui cuts the ball back to Fernandes on the edge of the box but, before he can hit it, goes down under pressure from Gabriel Jesus.

No free-kick. Fernandes' boot is hanging off his foot so he picks it up and throws it on the floor.

He then picks it up and throws it again. Yellow card.

  12. CLOSE!published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Newcastle 1-1 Bromley

He must be the most left-footed player to play on the right wing, I agree.

Newcastle go down their left instead and Harvey Barnes fizzes it across, just in front of the sliding William Osula who crashes into the post in the process. Ouch.

Almiron's complete inability to use his right foot is, frankly, embarrassing. Can't dribble, shoot, cross or pass with it. Makes him extremely 1 dimensional, predictable and simple to defend against. As a professional footballer he needs to have a look at himself for not even making it adequate.

    Jack Taylor (37 mins)

    Too easy.

The Bristol Rovers defence goes awol as the ball runs through to Jack Taylor on the edge of the area, and he takes a touch before firing home.

Replays show Taylor was a yard and a half offside. But there's no VAR in the FA Cup until round five, so the goal stands.

Manchester United counter-attack as Bruno Fernandes' pass forward is met by an isolated Alejandro Garnacho.

Newcastle are having all of the ball as you'd expect now but Bromley have already shown they can break away well. Lewis Miley is pulling the strings, playing some clever passes in midfield.
