Plymouth threaten early in this half. Ryan Hardie escapes along the right at speed and sends a delivery into a penalty area which is far from teeming with targets.

Darko Gyabi then sends a shot wide from distance for Argyle.

    Leeds 0-0 Middlesbrough

Four minutes added on at the end of the first half of this 20:00 BST game.

    Boro growing into this one.

  3. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:46 British Summer Time 14 August

    Plymouth 0-0 Cheltenham

No changes at Home Park, where the ground staff gave the turf a final tending to while Plymouth awaited Cheltenham's re-emergence.

The newly-introduced half-time entertainment on the pitch featured a fan from each end taking attempts at goal.

Hull's home tie against Sheffield Wednesday has also restarted.

  4. 'Not the most enthralling'published at 20:41 British Summer Time 14 August

    Leeds 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Aidy White
Former Leeds United full-back on BBC Radio Leeds

It's too early to go under the stand for a cup of tea but it's also not been the most enthralling game so far.

  5. 'Great play from both teams'published at 20:38 British Summer Time 14 August

    Hull City 1-2 Sheff Wed

    Lee Bullen
Former Sheffield Wednesday caretaker manager on BBC Radio Sheffield

If you're a neutral here, you're enjoying it.

Some great play from both teams, good pace, good passing. But there's also been some poor stuff from both sides.

On the balance of play, it could be 3 or 4-1 Wednesday. But it could also be 2-2. It's that type of game.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 14 August

    Leeds 0-0 Middlesbrough

Sam Byram, who probably should have been booked a few minutes ago for a foul on Isaiah Jones, is shown a yellow card for a cynical foul on Alex Gilbert on the halfway line.

Shortly after, Boro striker Josh Coburn controls a low ball into the box well but sends his shot into the sidenetting.

An impressive first half from Argyle, but you do have to start to wonder if it will ever go in for them.

Wayne Rooney has seen his side pepper the Cheltenham goal, but a combination of good goalkeeping and defending, the offside flag and some wayward shooting has seen Argyle draw a blank.

The League Two side have had their moments as well - Ethon Archer struck the post while Conor Hazard had to pull off a good save from Harrison Sohna.

Can Rooney get his first goal as Argyle boss during his fourth half as head coach?

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 14 August

    Hull City 1-2 Sheff Wed

A sensational start in this one saw three goals in the first 10 minutes.

Owls debutant Charlie McNeill gave them the lead after 24 seconds before Marven Mehlem levelled.

Moments later the former Manchester United man had his second after a real rick by Tigers keeper Anthony Racioppi.

No goals since then but both teams have had chances.

Plymouth force yet more corners before the whistle blows, Callum Wright and Bali Mumba both finding the side netting on opposite sides in quick succession.

They've run out of time to make a breakthrough, though, and might go in feeling somewhat fortunate not to be behind after Ethon Archer's shot hit the woodwork for Cheltenham.

Argyle have had almost 70 per cent of possession. Only two of their 13 shots, though, have been accurate. More sharpness needed?

  10. Postpublished at 20:29 British Summer Time 14 August

    Plymouth 0-0 Cheltenham

Freddie Issaka shows clever feet to put Plymouth on the front foot again following that scare when Cheltenham clattered a post.

Issaka tricks his way beyond several markers inside the penalty area and lifts the ball in front of goal from a tight angle. Town scramble the ball behind.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:27 British Summer Time 14 August

    Plymouth 0-0 Cheltenham

Cheltenham are unlucky not to be in front!

Ethon Archer is their latest player to be afforded space not far from Plymouth's box. The midfielder thumps in an effort from the left which comes off the near post, hits the grounded Conor Hazard on the back of the head and rolls behind.

Relief for the goalkeeper and home fans.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 14 August

    Leeds 0-0 Middlesbrough

Former Leeds man Jonny Howson is booked for a pretty poor challenge on Patrick Bamford 30 yards from goal.

  13. Postpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 14 August

    Leeds 0-0 Middlesbrough

The home side win a couple of corners in quick succession and then Joe Gelhardt gets a free kick in a dangerous position.

Joe Rothwell swings it in to the middle but it's dealt with easily and Gelhardt then slices the loose ball high into the stand.

Good work from Cheltenham in what was threatening to become a slightly soporific contest.

Harrison Sohna has an inviting amount of space from which to take aim from a central position as he approaches the Plymouth penalty area.

Conor Hazard is at full stretch as the strike curls wide.

  15. Postpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 14 August

    Hull City 1-2 Sheff Wed

Michael Ihiekwe heads over a decent free kick delivery from Marvin Johnson as the away side press for a third.

If you're just joining us, we had three goals in the opening 10 minutes of this one.

  16. Postpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 14 August

    Plymouth 0-0 Cheltenham

Wayne Rooney watch: the Plymouth manager has been patrolling the edge of his technical area to repeatedly bellow instructions.

He had a moment of concern a minute ago when Conor Hazard had to claw away Matt Taylor's close-range header. The forward was deemed offside.

  17. ‘Tried to get after them’published at 20:20 British Summer Time 14 August

    Leeds 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees

Middlesbrough’s shape has been decent so far, they’ve pressed the ball well and tried to get after them.

  18. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 14 August

    Leeds 0-0 Middlesbrough

Leeds skipper Ethan Ampadu is one of just three Whites players to stay in the team from Saturday.

The Wales international doesn't really do days off, he played 62 times for club and country last season.

  19. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 14 August

    Plymouth 0-0 Cheltenham

Both sides might have cause for satisfaction with the opening 32 minutes.

Plymouth have been entering Cheltenham's penalty area and winning corners without using any of their attacks to telling effect.

Town, who haven't beaten Argyle in their last five attempts, have sent a few promising crosses in at the other end despite only having 31 per cent of possession.

Leeds enjoying the lion's share of possession but Boro are pressing well and they've already forced the home side into a couple of errors at the back.
