  1. CLOSE!published at 13:22 British Summer Time 16 August

    Oldham 1-2 Swindon

    Ooof.

Reagan Ogle's throw is almost headed into his own net by Harry Smith, but Connor Ripley is there to gather.

Ian Holloway and the Swindon striker will both be relieved.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:20 British Summer Time 16 August

    Chesterfield 1-0 Bristol Rovers

A first-half that's all about one moment - a contentious red card to Bristol Rovers defender Joel Senior leading to an opening goal for Chesterfield.

Could that red card have sealed the result of the match?

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 16 August

    Exeter 0-1 Mansfield

Nigel Clough will be delighted to go into the break with a one-goal advantage.

Frazer Blake-Tracy's glancing header shortly before the break separates the sides, though Stags keeper Liam Roberts is the main reason for that, with a couple of smart saves with his feet to deny Jayden Wareham and Ed Turns.

Gary Caldwell's side have dominated possession but not done nearly enough with it in the final third.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 British Summer Time 16 August

    Burton 0-0 Port Vale

Port Vale reach the break on level terms, which took some doing at times.

Vale began brightly but George Byers' rash challenge on Charlie Webster inside 15 minutes earned the skipper a red card and the Brewers bossed much of the rest of the half, with Vale keeper Marko Marosi needing to keep his sheet clean and JJ McKiernan firing an angled shot inches wide.

Big 15 minutes coming up for both managers in a game with plenty of bite, given the club's 30-mile proximity to each other.

  5. Postpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 16 August

    Chesterfield 1-0 Bristol Rovers

There's four minutes to play in this first-half.

Given the drama of the last few minutes, could it offer even more excitement?

  6. 'Clarke will be fuming'published at 13:16 British Summer Time 16 August

    Chesterfield 1-0 Bristol Rovers

    Lee Turnbull
Former Chesterfield striker on BBC Radio Sheffield

Darrell Clarke will be fuming and Chesterfield's Paul Cook was in his opponents technical area - he was probably offering some sort of sympathy was Cook.

He is going to see that decision as we all saw it.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:13 British Summer Time 16 August

    Oldham 1-2 Swindon

Oldham are pressing for a second and nearly find it but Connor Ripley pulls off a good save down low to deny Mike Fondop's header.

  8. goal

GOAL: Exeter 0-1 Mansfieldpublished at 13:13 British Summer Time 16 August

    Frazer Blake-Tracy (42 mins)

    His first Stags goal...

Exeter have bossed much of the half and dominated the ball but the Stags win a left-wing corner and Frazer Blake-Tracy is given too much space to glance home a header into the bottom corner of Joe Whitworth's goal.

Is Mansfield's pointless start coming to an end?

  9. goal

GOAL: Chesterfield 1-0 Bristol Roverspublished at 13:11 British Summer Time 16 August

    Tom Naylor (41 min)

Double the pain for the Gas.

The free-kick from the dismissal goes bouncing around until Dylan Duffy sends it Tom Naylor's way across goal.

It's nudged into the net by Naylor's header and now Bristol Rovers have a lot of work to do.

  10. 'A very big decision by the referee'published at 13:11 British Summer Time 16 August

    Chesterfield 0-0 Bristol Rovers

    Lee Turnbull
Former Chesterfield striker on BBC Radio Sheffield

That is a very big decision made by the referee, and they were shoulder to shoulder.

Whether it was a clear goal scoring opportunity, I'm not too sure. And I don't think he had control of the ball at all.

  11. RED CARD TO BRISTOL ROVERSpublished at 13:10 British Summer Time 16 August

    Joel Senior (39 mins)

Bristol Rovers' search for a first victory just got harder.

Armando Dobra is flying up the left flank towards goal and Rovers defender Joel Senior trips him up to cease the attack. In turn, he sees red for preventing a possible goal.

    Ouch.

  12. Postpublished at 13:09 British Summer Time 16 August

    Chesterfield 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Bristol Rovers forward Promise Omochere wastes a HUGE opportunity after Ryan Howley plays the ball into him in the middle of the box.

Only the goalkeeper stands in Omochere's way of the goal but he ends up dragging his shot far wide of the mark.

  13. goal

GOAL: Oldham 1-2 Swindonpublished at 13:06 British Summer Time 16 August

    Joe Quigley (34 mins)

The Latics are back in this.

They win a free-kick which Tom Conlon puts into the area and it finds Joe Quigley who nods home.

    Game on!

  14. CLOSE!published at 13:05 British Summer Time 16 August

    Burton 0-0 Port Vale

Alert keeping from Vale stopper Marko Marosi who sees Charlie Webster curl in an inviting cross which beats everyone, only for the keeper to dive to his left to prevent it creeping inside the far post.

Moments later and a bouncing ball drops to JJ McKiernan in the Vale box but the Lincoln loanee can only drag his low shot across the face of goal and inches past the far post.

    Vale living dangerously...

  15. Postpublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 16 August

    Chesterfield 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Chesterfield defender Kyle McFadzean picks out Lewis Gordon on the left and loops in a superb ball above Rovers heads to send it across field.

Gordon responds quickly, attempting a high-arching cross of his own into the box but he scuffs it and the ball whirls out of play.

  16. Postpublished at 13:00 British Summer Time 16 August

    Burton 0-0 Port Vale

Burton building up a head of steam with some teasing balls into the Vale area, the latest from the right from Finn Delap, the 20-year-old son of Rory, or do we call him brother of Liam now?

Vale are defending doggedly, but 75 minutes is a long time to hold out with 10-men.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:00 British Summer Time 16 August

    Oldham 0-2 Swindon

First yellow of the game is picked up by the scorer of the second goal Tom Nichols. He goes into the referee's book for foul on Donervon Daniels.

  18. 'Vale have got to weather the storm'published at 12:59 British Summer Time 16 August

    Burton 0-0 Port Vale

    Phil Bowers
    BBC Radio Stoke commentator

The Vale bench look furious, they look incandescent with rage after this first period of the game.

You can see Burton starting to turn the screw now and they can smell blood.

Vale have really got to weather this storm and stop inviting the pressure on them.

  19. Postpublished at 12:55 British Summer Time 16 August

    Chesterfield 0-0 Bristol Rovers

There's a pause in play as Chey Dunkley changes his shorts giving both managers a chance to have a mini team talk as we approached the second quarter of the game.

Spireites boss Paul Cook will be the happier of the two but there's still nothing between the teams where it counts.

  20. CLOSE!published at 12:54 British Summer Time 16 August

    Burton 0-0 Port Vale

Let-off for Vale defender Jesse Debrah who turns to play a blind backpass to keeper Liam Roberts, who is 10 yards away from where he expected him to be.

The keeper wins the sprint to the loose ball a fraction of a second before Burton forward Fabio Tavares and clears his lines.

Down the other end Connor Hall gets a glimpse of goal for the 10-men Valiants but his effort from the left of the box arrows over the angle of post and bar.
