  1. goal

GOAL Aberdeen 0-1 Ross Countypublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Akil Wright

    Stunning!

That is a goal of the season contender.

On the bounce, Akil Wright lifts it over the keeper and into the top corner from 30 yards. I doubt he'll ever score better.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Aberdeen 0-0 Ross County

Topi Keskinen is into the book after a very high tackle on Connor Randall. There's another delay, as David Dickinson points to his ear... but play goes on.

  3. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Mirren

St Mirren want a penalty of their own at Rugby Park after Toyosi Olusanya goes to ground, but referee Colin Stephen isn't interested.

Kilmarnock break and Richard Taylor is booked for cynically bringing it to a halt.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    St Johnstone 0-0 Hibernian

It's Hibs with the best chance of the half! The ball falls to Chris Cadden, who's racing into the box, and Jack Sanders has to clear off the line to keep it level.

  5. Handy Andersonpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Mirren

Kilmarnock's Bruce Anderson scored at the second attempt after his penalty was saved against St Mirren.

  6. Postpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Aberdeen 0-0 Ross County

Back under way at Pittodrie, where the snowfall has lightened slightly. We can definitely see where the box is, at least.

We've also been told VAR is operating here, but not for offsides. If it is a tight offside then the on-field decision will stand.

  7. Postpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hearts 1-0 Motherwell

Hearts right-back Adam Forrester tries to flash a ball across the front post, but it goes wide of the goal.

It looked for a moment as though it had gone all the way in, but no, it's a goal kick.

    It's all Hearts right now.

  8. Postpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    St Johnstone 0-0 Hibernian

St Johnstone have been the better of the sides so far in Perth but they can't break down the Hibs back line.

Promising signs for Simo Valakari, though.

  10. Play paused at Pittodriepublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Aberdeen 0-0 Ross County

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

The play has been paused at Pittodrie and ground staff are now on the pitch clearing the lines.

The sky is dark and the snow is belting down - in fairness this has only really started since the game kicked off.

  11. 'Kettlewell unhappy'published at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hearts 1-0 Motherwell

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Scotland at Tynecastle

Motherwell have yet to get a grip on this match and Stuart Kettlewell is very unhappy in the away dugout!

  12. Brucie Bonuspublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Mirren

    Andy Burke
BBC Sport Scotland at Rugby Park

Not the best penalty you'll ever see from Bruce Anderson and he was fortunate to get a second bite of the cherry from the rebound to score.

    Great start for Killie.

  13. Postpublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Aberdeen 0-0 Ross County

Within the space of a few minutes, the snow has started to lie. The yellow ball remains just about visible, but the lines are getting harder and harder to see.

The players are struggling to get to grips with conditions.

  14. Healthy away support in Perthpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    St Johnstone 0-0 Hibernian

    Jane Lewis
BBC Sport Scotland at McDiarmid Park

Around 3,000 Hibs fans have made the journey to Perth for this one this afternoon. And they've come in good voice, along with the odd drum, so there's plenty of noise from the away end at the moment. No goals but plenty of noise.

  15. Postpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Aberdeen 0-0 Ross County

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

The snow is really dinging down at Pittodrie now.

Not ideal playing conditions underfoot at the moment.

That might explain why both sides are struggling to get any real control on the ball so far.

  16. Postpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Aberdeen 0-0 Ross County

It looks like a snow globe at Pittodrie, such are the blizzard-like conditions.

It's actually quite hard to see the ball at times, but the snow isn't really lying... yet.

  17. goal

GOAL Kilmarnock 1-0 St Mirrenpublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Bruce Anderson

It's a poor penalty from Bruce Anderson, straight down the middle.

However, he gets a bit of luck as the ball bounces back to him off the legs of goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe, and he taps home.

  18. goal

GOAL Hearts 1-0 Motherwellpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Musa Drammeh

    And the goal does count!

It's a dangerous corner which Motherwell goalkeeper Aston Oxborough struggles to claim with James Wilson and his own defender Dan Casey next to him.

It falls to Musa Drammeh, who couldn't miss. Referee Calum Scott was sent to the monitor after initially disallowing it for a foul.

There was no foul. Hearts lead and it has been coming even at this early stage.

  19. Penalty to Kilmarnockpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Kilmarnock 0-0 St Mirren

Alex Gogic bundles Bruce Anderson to the ground in the St Mirren box, and referee Colin Stephen points to the spot.

    Anderson will take it himself...

  20. Postpublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hearts 0-0 Motherwell

Hearts have the ball in the net but will it count?

Musa Drammeh netted inside a crowded area at a corner but there seems to be concern about a foul. VAR will check.
