    Aberdeen 1-1 Ross County

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

A really lively start to the second half by Aberdeen, Duk in particular is causing County all sorts of problems.

  2. goal

GOAL Kilmarnock 2-0 St Mirrenpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Bruce Anderson, penalty

No mistake from Bruce Anderson this time, who sends Ellery Balcombe the wrong way.

Kilmarnock in total control at Rugby Park.

  3. CLOSE!published at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hearts 1-0 Motherwell

Motherwell, out of nothing, go close to an equaliser.

It's an in-swinging corner that finds Dan Casey, who rises high to get his head on it. However, he can't keep it down.

A golden chance for Motherwell to equalise. Hearts really need a second goal to put this game to bed.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Aberdeen 1-1 Ross County

Aberdeen are breaking forward, Jamie McGrath feeds Duk but it's a little wide...

But he manages to thunder it off the bar! I think Jordan Amissah might get a touch to that. What a save!

  5. PENALTY TO KILMARNOCKpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Mirren

Another penalty is awarded to Kilmarnock!

Alex Gogic - who gave away the first spot-kick - steps across Kyle Magennis and Colin Stephen points to the spot.

It's soft, but the decision stands. Bruce Anderson to take...

  6. Postpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    St Johnstone 1-0 Hibernian

And VAR backs the on-field decision. St Johnstone stay in front.

  7. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    St Johnstone 1-0 Hibernian

Martin Boyle has the ball in the net but the Hibernian goal does not stand for now.

    VAR will check of course.

Boyle converted Nicky Cadden's cross after it had been helped on by Junior Hoilett, who seems the most likely to have been offside.

    St Johnstone 1-0 Hibernian

Nicky Clark's penalty separates the sides at McDiarmid Park. Will it be decisive for St Johnstone?

And Aberdeen v Ross County is indeed back under way.

  10. Postpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    HT: Aberdeen 1-1 Ross County

Huge credit to the Pittodrie ground staff, who have almost completely cleared the pitch of snow in advance of the delayed second half.

Players back out and they are almost ready to resume.

  11. Postpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hearts 1-0 Motherwell

Will Hearts live to rue their missed chances?

  12. Postpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Mirren

Stephen Robinson turns to his bench in an attempt to change this game.

Roland Idowu is off, Mikael Mandron is on.

Richard Taylor then heads an effort inches wide for the visitors - it's probably the best chance they have had.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    St Johnstone 1-0 Hibernian

Nicky Cadden forces Josh Rae into a strong save to deny Hibs from getting back level.

It's a lovely cross from Lewis Miller, who finds Cadden racing in at the far post but Rae gets low to send it behind for a corner.

  14. CLOSE!published at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hearts 1-0 Motherwell

Liam Boyce has to score here.

Brilliant from James Penrice to glide down the left and put it on a plate at the near post, but Boyce pokes it wide.

September 2023 was the Northern Irishman's last goal.

  15. Postpublished at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    HT: Aberdeen 1-1 Ross County

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

The conditions at Pittodrie remind me of the ice rink Aberdeen played in in Europe against HJK Helsinki in Finland last season.

Angus MacDonald scored a wonder goal in that one.

Ross County's Akil Wright is the player with the wonder goal award in this one, what a belter.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Mirren

St Mirren defender Alex Gogic goes into referee Colin Stephen's book.

The second half has started in similarly scrappy fashion to the first.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hearts 1-0 Motherwell

Jorge Grant smacks the crossbar from the edge of the box!

It comes back off and hits Liam Boyce and somehow goes wide. Hearts should be out of sight.

  18. CLOSE!published at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hearts 1-0 Motherwell

Hearts look a completely different team today.

Superb from Musa Drammeh as he drives down the right and delivers a perfect ball, which James Wilson should get to and tap home.

However, the teenager arrives a second too late. From a corner, Kye Rowles tries to force home from five yards but Liam Gordon makes a crucial block.

  19. ouch!

Ouch!published at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    St Johnstone 1-0 Hibernian

Adama Sidibeh races on to a cross into the box and bundles into the Hibs goalkeeper.

Jordan Smith is back to his feet but Sidibeh needs treatment.

  20. Saints ahead despite losing a manpublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    St Johnstone 1-0 Hibernian

    Jane Lewis
BBC Sport Scotland at McDiarmid Park

St Johnstone will no doubt be up against it as the second half gets going here, despite leading Hibernian in this one. That goal from Nicky Clark's penalty could be massive.

Hibs will be looking to take advantage of having an extra player as they look to make it five wins on the bounce. It will be interesting to see how Saints approach this second half.
