The German side who are bang out of form and are down in 29th spot, are staring at likely elimination from the competition as it stands.
Meanwhile, former Aston Villa winger Bertrand Traore has put Ajax on course to reach the playoff ties, with a goal against Galatasaray.
And a few minutes after having a goal disallowed against Viktoria Plzen, following a VAR review, Athletic Bilbao are in front thanks to Spain winger Nico Williams.

Spurs not much better at the other end. Lucas Bergvall gives the ball away on the edge of the Elfsborg penalty area. Not the first time he's done that and Ange Postecoglou looks frustrated on the touchline.

I will never be confident of a Spurs win , no matter who the opposition is. I've been a Spurs fan too long.

Tottenham 0-0 Elfsborg
Elfsborg look like they're going to get on the counter and fashion an opportunity but they give the ball away cheaply and Spurs are able to regroup.

Christian Eriksen just about keeps the ball in but Noussair Mazraoui's cross is caught by Stefan Tarnovanu under pressure by Rasmus Hojlund - who is deemed to have fouled the keeper I believe.
Not many goals about, are there.

Man United are playing with some joy and purpose, unlike most PL matches. As a Romanian fan since their '99 season I am unpleasantly surprised to see that tonight of all nights they seem to do the job they are paid to do.

Son Heung-Min is causing trouble again down the left-hand side. He travels to the byline and manages to keep the ball in, just about, before digging out a pass for Pedro Porro but his header is straight at the goalkeeper.
A Manchester United goal right now would put Rangers in the top eight.
