We would have had a VAR check, but it was a wonderful free-kick.

Everybody in a Man Utd shirt misses it!

  4. Postpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    FCSB 0-0 Man Utd

    The hosts should be ahead!

Risto Radunovic swings in a wonderful cross and the stretching Mihai Popescu sticks a leg out and turns it just wide of the far post. If he'd got that on target I don't think it would have been saved.

Florin Tanase seems to be OK.

Both wide men, Mikey Moore and Son Heung-min are being told to attack the full backs. They are being told to pick up the ball and run. You feel Son has the full back on toast here, and for Spurs they just need to keep getting the ball to him.

  7. Postpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Elfsborg

Tottenham have a free-kick on the left-hand side just outside the area. It's in an interesting area but Son Heung-Min opts for a short ball at the near post but it's blocked immediately. Was that a shot? Not sure what he was going for there.

He wins his side a corner which is punched away by the keeper.

    Tyrell Malacia mistimes the challenge.

You think the referee might let that one go. Florin Tanase is still down and he's looking to get some treatment.

Richard Browne: Tottenham have net spent £500m in the last several years, third highest in the league. Buying a load of players in the worst window is a bad idea, what do you do when the full squad is fit again? Work through it, target next year.

FCSB keeper Stefan Tarnovanu gets up well to catch a United cross from the middle of a crowd.

  13. 'Good pick out from Porro'published at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Elfsborg

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

The ball was just a little bit too high for Richarlison there but it was a good pick out from Pedro Porro. It was an ambitious ball, good bit of curl on it and the keeper couldn't come to claim. If Richarlison gets a bit more of a run on it then it's half a chance.

    FCSB 0-0 Man Utd

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Man Utd have taken the sting out of the game.

It's important they break the game into chunks and quieten this crowd down.

  15. Postpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Elfsborg

Pedro Porro loops one over for Richarlison but it's got a bit too much height on it and the Brazilian has to leap into the air to try and make contact. He can't connect properly and his header is over the bar.

  16. Postpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    FCSB 0-0 Man Utd

Christian Eriksen swings in a free-kick from deep and Matthijs de Ligt heads it wide. Barely a chance but it will go down as the first shot of the game.
