  1. Can Pompey end lengthy Bramall Lane hoodoo?published at 14:51 Greenwich Mean Time

All credit to the travelling Portsmouth fans today because, on paper, their chances of a win at Sheffield United seem slim at best.

The South Yorkshire side, who will go second with a win today, have lost just twice at home all season, while 20th-placed Pompey have lost their past six away games in a row and haven't won at Bramall Lane since 1955.

However, United's two defeats in front of their own fans have come in their past three games here, including being humbled by 3-0 by Hull City a fortnight ago.

It’s a bit nippy in Norwich, but the air has been warmed up with some hot talk that Blackburn Rovers manager John Eustace has been approached to be the next Derby County manager.

The former Derby player has been named as the favourite by the bookies and some media reports to take the role.

Blackburn play tomorrow. So, if a deal is close, you would think they would want it done before tomorrow’s game.

Meanwhile, Derby must focus on getting a win to end a club record losing streak of eight games and getting themselves out of the relegation zone.

They face a Norwich side unbeaten at home in the league in their last five games.

Former Derby County captain Curtis Davies says he is uncomfortable with how the club dealt with the dismissal of boss Paul Warne.

He was sacked on Friday with the Rams in the Championship relegation zone but barely 24 hours before facing Norwich City.

"To have allowed Paul Warne and his staff to take training, and then sack him, I don't like that at all," Davies told BBC Radio Derby.

"If they know he's not going to have the job then it's a meeting in the morning. On a human level you can't allow a man to take training and be preparing for a game.

"If it's the right decision or not it's not the way I would like my football club in terms of Derby County to conduct themselves."

Derby County became the 11th Championship team to make a change in the dugout on Friday when they sacked boss Paul Warne after two years in charge.

Warne had led the Rams to promotion back to the second tier last season and they made a solid start to the campaign.

However, a run of seven successive league losses has seen them tumble down into the relegation zone.

"Results in football dictate decisions and we felt that to give us the best chance of retaining our Championship status, the time was right to make a change," owner David Clowes told the club website., external

The Rams visit Warne's hometown team Norwich today, looking for a first win since 26 December.

It's all ifs and buts but if you look at this Watford team, they didn't look like a struggling team.

They caused Sunderland problems and we struggled to get going.

Could we have played with a bit more tempo and urgency? It was only in the last 10 minutes when we played with that tempo and urgency and getting the ball forward.

The home side claim the points in absolutely crazy fashion.

Djeidi Gassama thought he had given the away side the lead after the break but was denied by a very late offside flag.

Adam Armstrong then looked to have won it for the home side with a debut goal in the 74th minute before the very late drama saw this game go one way and then back the other!

    West Brom go fifth.

What an end to a brilliant game - Sunderland preserve their unbeaten home record and almost come from behind to win it right at the end, had it not been for two big saves from Watford's debutant keeper Egil Selvick.

The Black Cats took the lead through Luke O'Nien's header before Tom Dele-Bashiru equalised from the penalty spot.

Imran Louza's stunning effort just after the restart put the Hornets in control, before Dennis Cirkin levelled the score again for the hosts in the 89th minute.

    Spoils shared. Cracking game.

Credit where it's due to Wednesday becaue they have kept going.

Svante Ingelsson's low cross is tipped into Callum Paterson's path by Joe Wildmsith.

The Scot's first effort is brilliantly cleared off the line by a home defender but he wallops it in at the second attempt.

Pol Valentin does well to win a corner down the Wednesday right.

It bounces around a bit and then defender Michael Ihiekwe has a dip from 20 yards out.

Not really his biggest asset and it flies well, well wide.

  20. GREAT SAVES!published at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time

    Sunderland 2-2 Watford

Huge saves from Watford's goalkeeper Egil Selvick!

First to deny Wilson Isidor one on one and then again to make a second stop from Milan Aleksić.

All Sunderland now - the Black Cats are going for it.
