    A blow to Port Vale's automatic promotion hopes and a first league double over the Burslem side for Barrow.

    Ben Jackson's first-half strike wins it for Barrow who are now four unbeaten on the road.

    Lorent Tolaj, Jayden Stockley and Ben Garrity all hit the woodwork for Vale in the second period and Paul Farman also kept the home side at bay.

    Boss Darren Moore will surely look to a listless opening 45 minutes from his side where they lacked any intensity.

    Barrow join Doncaster and Walsall as the only sides to win at Vale Park in League Two this season.
