  5. Postpublished at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March

    Carlisle 2-2 MK Dons

A reminder that Carlisle haven't won consecutive league games since March 2023 - a run of two years and 95 games without doing so.

How they'd love to end that streak tonight after beating Bromley 2-1 at the weekend.

More importantly, victory for Mark Hughes' side would lift them up to 23rd and within four points of safety.

    Good game, this.

  10. Postpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March

    Port Vale 0-1 Barrow

Port Vale are seeing a lot of the ball now as Barrow look to defend quite deep.

The visitors are trying to slow the game down at every opportunity which is frustrating the home supporters but it's up to Vale to find a way back into this one.

  11. Postpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March

Port Vale have not lost at home since 7 December.

A cross into the Barrow box evades everyone.

Robbie Gotts goes down for the visitors now, I believe they call this trying to 'manage the clock'.

    Port Vale 0-1 Barrow

Notts County, Doncaster and AFC Wimbledon fans in particular will have eyes on this game tonight with third place the target for them and Port Vale.

The home side face Crewe, Bradford and Walsall in the next 10 days so they'll need something to take into those games you would feel if their promotion charge isn't to flounder.

  20. 'There is a game to be won here'published at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March

    HT: Carlisle 2-2 MK Dons

    Chris Lumsdon
Former Carlisle midfielder on BBC Radio Cumbria

Two good goals from Carlisle's point of view and it's good that we've made up for mistakes from the goals.

There feels to be a little bit of a soft underbelly to MK Dons and there is a game to be won here. There's a belief in the crowd that we can win this when you listen to that roar at half-time.
