World Cup winner N'Golo Kante has been recalled by France after being named as one of 25 players in Didier Deschamps' squad for Euro 2024.

Midfielder Kante, 33, played an influential role in France's World Cup win in 2018 but has not represented his country since June 2022 and currently plays for Saudi club Al-Ittihad.

Kante struggled with injury towards the end of his spell at Chelsea, but France boss Deschamps says his experience will aid the squad in Germany.

Paris St-Germain youngsters Warren Zaire-Emery, 18, and Bradley Barcola, 21, have also been selected after impressing for the Ligue 1 champions.

Manuel Neuer and Toni Kroos could each attend their fourth European Championships after being named in the host nation's provisional Euro 2024 selection.

Midfielder Kroos, 34, announced his international retirement in July 2021 but reversed the decision in March, following talks with head coach Julian Nagelsmann.

Goalkeeper Neuer, 38, has not played for his country since 2022, after breaking his leg following the Qatar World Cup.

Bayern Munich duo Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry miss out while Tottenham striker Timo Werner is absent with a hamstring injury.

Erik Ten Hag's Ajax team has been one of the best in quality of play. For United this season it's been tough playing without a lot of important players."

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola on facing Chelsea: "They are a very young team and they have a lot of talent there. They are showing it lately. They are improving a lot. Probably with Arsenal and [Manchester] City are finishing the season strongly.

"They are winning games quite easily and they have very good players in very good form. Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson, they are scoring goals lately and they are always a threat."

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola on team news: "It’s difficult to say about injuries as we are two days away from the game, but I don’t think a lot will change.

"I can probably try with Romain [Faivre], he was out with just the ankle and we will try to get him available.

"Meps [Chris Mepham] is also improving, I don’t know if he returns but we’re finishing the season in a better place injury-wise."

Milos Kerkez is also back in contention after his three-game ban for his straight red card against Wolves.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola opened his press conference earlier today by talking about signing a new deal that commits him to the club until at least the end of the 2025/26 season.

"The club approached me and for me it is good news because it means that they keep believing in the work we are doing and we agreed but it was not a very big or difficult thing."

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has been sacked with two Serie A games to go.

In a statement, external the club said: "The exoneration follows certain behaviours during and after the Copa Italia final that the club deemed incompatible with the values of Juventus and the behaviour that those who represent it should have."

The Italian giants lifted the Copa Italia on Wednesday, their first major trophy in three years, after beating Atalanta 1-0.

Allegri was sent off towards the end of the game for dissent.

Lastly, Fulham boss Marco Silva had some kind words for departing first-team coach Luis Boa Morte, stating: "This is not just a football relationship, this is a personal relationship. We will stay friends, for sure."

Fulham boss Marco Silva provided some team news ahead of the last game of the season against Luton Town: "[Sasa] Lukic is going to be out and [Issa] Diop will be out too."

Silva confirmed that Lukic is unavailable after picking up an injury and Diop will not feature due to suspension.

Mo Elneny has confirmed he is leaving Arsenal at the end of the season.

The Egypt international joined the North London club in January 2016 and is currently their longest-serving player.

On his message to them: "Once again, thank you the support and the understating. They have been really intelligent, been incredible for us. Enjoy the break and get ready to back us again next season."

I've done that along with staff and players this year. I have leant that I feel comfortable at this level, and along with the players and staff, that really pleases me.

Luton Town boss Rob Edwards on the position of the club after being all but confirmed as relegated: "The club is in a really healthy position. We have been saying since we arrived this club is only going one way.

"We know what the Premier League gives you in terms of finances and what it has helped us do - better stadium, training ground, better squad. We're not in any rush to let people go, which is obviously really good, we're only looking forward and club is in really great position. I'm really proud of what we have done the past 18 months.

"We have given everything and given a really good account of ourselves. We have show Luton to the world in a really good light. Players, staff, supporters and I'm really proud of that."

On Barkley's future: Ross has been a really important player for us and that is what we want [to keep him].

"He is an ambitious person, as we all are. He recognises what this club has done for him and what we have done for each other. He has loved this season at the club.

"Nothing is off the table and we are really hopeful he will stay but we are also realistic in this day and age."
