Not conceding now is massive for Oxford United now in the last stages of the half.

They lead 2-1 here, they just need to keep possession of the ball.

Boubakary Soumare (own goal) (44 mins)

The sun comes out and Oxford, in yellow, go ahead.

A corner is slung over and Ben Davies' header is deflected beyond Jakub Stolarczyk by Leicester's Boubakary Soumare.

A long way back for the 10 men now.

We will have three minutes of additional time.

  3. 'He's got it through them'published at 13:13 BST

    Charlton 1-0 Millwall

    Dean Kiely
Former Charlton Athletic goalkeeper on BBC Radio London

It's come from a ball in from Coventry, Benda get the punch on it, he deals with it quite well.

It's Carey on the edge of the box, and he strikes it back through, we see it every week, there must have been eight or nine bodies in front of him, but he's got it through them.

    Sonny Carey (40 mins)

It's been coming, and now it's arrived, Charlton break the deadlock.

After Steven Brenda had expertly tipped Rob Apter's deflected effort over the crossbar for a corner, Charlton's resulting corner is only partially cleared by a punch from Brenda.

The ball falls at the feet of Sonny Carey whose right-footed half-volley goes through a crowd of players and finds the bottom corner - a terrific strike.

    The Valley has just erupted.

  5. CLOSE!published at 13:11 BST

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Charlton are beginning to sense the occasion and it's the former Blackpool duo who combine down the right.

Sonny Carey finds Rob Apter but his effort is well kept out at the near post.

Soon after, Rob Apter's deflected effort is tipped over the bar by Millwall keeper Steven Brenda. Charlton on top.

    Oxford United 1-1 Leicester

A free kick for Oxford just outside the box.

Cameron Brannagan cracks it at goal - it's dipping but not quick enough and over it goes.

Gary Rowett picks up some litter in his technical area and puts it in the nearby bin - how very community spirited of the Oxford boss!

  7. Postpublished at 13:08 BST

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Good work down the right from Charlton's Charlie Kelman allows Rob Apter with the opportunity at goal but his left-footed curling effort is well blocked by a Millwall head.

    Better from the hosts.

Almost a wonder goal from Leicester's Stephy Mavididi.

Brian De Keersmaecker loses the ball inside the visitors' half and Mavididi sprints away before running out of puff a bit and his shot is easily saved by Jamie Cumming as defenders get back to help out.

That would have been a proper sucker punch because Leicester have barely had the ball since the red card.

  9. Postpublished at 13:06 BST

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Josh Coburn picks up an intelligent position and looks to travel forward with the ball but is stopped in his tracks by a terrific tackle from Charlton skipper Lloyd Jones.

Soon after, Millwall's Aidomo Emakhu cuts inside and shoots from an angle but it is high, wide and not particularly handsome.

  10. Postpublished at 13:05 BST

    Preston 1-0 Middlesbrough

Championship leaders Boro have had more of the ball but they've got none of the goals and home keeper Daniel Iversen hasn't had a shot to save yet.

    Oxford United 1-1 Leicester

More desperate defending from Leicester sees Oliver Skipp throw himself in the way of a Matt Phillips blockbuster.

It's chucking it down with rain now.

Leicester just can't get out of their own half at the moment.

  12. Postpublished at 13:00 BST

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Charlton right-back Kayne Ramsay lets fly from range but his shot is too high and doesn't test Millwall keeper Steven Benda.

At the other end, Ryan Leonard's centre finds Josh Coburn who, coming away from the goal, shins an ugly effort well off target.

Almost half an hour gone and we're yet to see a shot on target in this one just yet.

  13. Postpublished at 13:00 BST

    Oxford United 1-1 Leicester

More good Oxford work ends with Matt Phillips setting up Filip Krastev whose shot is blocked.

Caleb Okoli heads away the subsequent corner but the visitors are defending very deep - it's going to sap their energy.

  14. Postpublished at 12:58 BST

    Preston 1-0 Middlesbrough

Now then, what are Boro made of?

This is the first time they've been behind in the Championship this season and just the second goal they've let in in the league.

Luke Ayling sends an effort over the bar for the visitors after a Matt Targett corner is half-cleared.

  15. 'It depends where Leicester see it'published at 12:57 BST

    Oxford 1-1 Leicester

    Owynn Palmer-Atkin
    BBC Radio Leicester commentator

Leicester now down to 10 men and it'll be a really tough test against buoyant Oxford United side.

They've shown some real threat with Placheta hitting the bar as well.

It depends where Leicester see the state of this game now, there'll be players there thinking they can still win it.

I bet there'll also be some supporters in the stands now who'd take the point.

    Oxford United 1-1 Leicester

If ever Oxford United wanted a golden opportunity to get a first victory of the season then Aaron Ramsey has handed it to them with that complete brain fade of a challenge on Filip Krastev.

Referee Ben Toner just took a few seconds before brandishing the red card.

How do Leicester deal with being a man short with so much of the game remaining?

  17. Postpublished at 12:57 BST

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

The atmosphere inside The Valley has cranked up a notch as the home fans look to be the 12th man in their quest for a first league win against Millwall in almost 30 years.

Under pressure, and amongst the noise, Addicks keeper Thomas Kaminski shows his class with his feet, ably Cruyff-turning away from Josh Coburn who looked to hunt him down.

  18. 'It's a great finish'published at 12:54 BST

    Preston 1-0 Middlesbrough

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees

It's a great finish, we just haven't clicked quite yet, we find ourselves for the first time this season, going one behind. Can we get back into it?

I just think playing through the middle and pressing teams, as we do, we just haven't done it just yet.

  19. RED CARDpublished at 12:54 BST

    Oxford United 1-1 Leicester

Leicester's Aaron Ramsey is shown a red cardImage source, PA Media

Jamie Cumming has to make a very good save from Aaron Ramsey on his Leicester debut.

Ramsey then launches himself into a tackle on Filip Krastev and 23 minutes in a Foxes shirt is all we'll see from him today - red card!

Ben Toner had no choice - awful challenge from the Burnley loanee.

It was Aaron Ramsey's first league start since February 2024 and that frustration has boiled over.

The league leaders trail for the first time this season!

Aston Villa loanee Lewis Dobbin gets his first goal for Preston with a superb solo effort.

He picks the ball up 30 yards out, drives at the Boro defence and then smashes a left-footer into the top corner. Great shot.
