    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

A long ball from Ryan Leonard is well knocked down by Millwall target man Josh Coburn to winger Aidomo Emakhu but, up against three Charlton defenders, the Irishman is unable to get a shot away, instead having to settle for a corner after being shepherded out.

From it, Charlton keeper Thomas Kaminski is decisive, punching away from the danger under significant pressure from the Millwall attack.

    Oxford United 1-1 Leicester

Cameron Branngan, the newly appointed Oxford captain, is not having a good day so far.

He gave the ball away for the Leicester equaliser and now he's gifted it to Jordan Ayew but he's helped out by his defence who clear things up.

Defences are not on top here!

  3. 'Somehow, it's not gone in'published at 12:48 BST

    Oxford 1-1 Leicester

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio Oxford

Placheta checks back onto his left, he's about 25 yards out, it hits the bar, hits the keeper, somehow, it's not gone in.

That seems to have woken Oxford up.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:47 BST

    Oxford United 1-1 Leicester

My word, don't take your eyes off this one.

Przemyslaw Placheta brings the ball under control and bends his effort off the bar.

The rebound hits goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk on the back but he reacts quickly to prevent it rolling over the line.

    Very open, very entertaining...

  5. 'A gift for Leicester'published at 12:44 BST

    Oxford 1-1 Leicester

    Matty Fryatt
Former Leicester City striker on Radio Leicester

    Really sloppy by Oxford.

It's come from a loose pass, Ayew was onto it in a flash, he slid it through the legs of Cummings, a really composed finish.

    A gift for Leicester.

  6. Postpublished at 12:44 BST

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Lots of endeavour as you might expect from a South London derby in the first 10 minutes but not too much in quality at the moment.

Tyreece Campbell looks to have his beating of Ryan Leonard so far, but when he plays the ball into Charlton striker Charlie Kelman, the forward's touch is poor and Millwall get the opportunity to clear their lines.

    That didn't take long...

Terrible back pass from the Oxford skipper Cameron Brannagan and there is Jordan Ayew to intercept it and beat Jamie Cumming for his first Championship goal of the season.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:42 BST

    Preston 0-0 Middlesbrough

That's a second Middlesbrough player on a booking inside the first 15 minutes.

This time it's centre-back Alfie Jones who has his name taken by the referee for a pull on Alfie Devine.

  9. Postpublished at 12:42 BST

    Oxford United 1-0 Leicester

Almost an immediate response from Leicester to going behind.

Jamie Cumming is called into action for the first time in the home goal to deny Jordan Ayew.

Oxford being up for those loose balls, it's lumped forward, Stolarczyk parries it, it's squared and then Lankshear has a simple task, no one reacted to that second ball.

    Far too passive from Leicester.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:40 BST

    Preston 0-0 Middlesbrough

Early booking for Boro forward Morgan Whittaker for a poor challenge on Preston's Lewis Dobbin.

  12. Postpublished at 12:40 BST

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Tyreece Campbell looks to get in behind but is stopped in his tracks by Millwall right-back Ryan Leonard and the ball goes out for a corner to the home side - the game's first.

From it, Lloyd Jones catches Millwall skipper Jake Cooper with a stray arm and the visitors are rewarded with a free-kick.

Three in four games for the Spurs loanee!

Matt Phillips cracks a volley which Jakub Stolarczyk can't hold onto and Michal Helik gets to the loose ball to find Will Lankshear who taps in from a couple of yards.

    Oxford United 0-0 Leicester

Some good build up from Oxford sees Will Lankshear find Przemyslaw Placheta just inside the box but Luke Thomas lunges across to block the shot.

The visitors were opened up there.

  15. Postpublished at 12:37 BST

    Preston 0-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough's 100% start to this league season has been underpinned by strong defensive performances.

Boro have conceded just one goal in their four matches and have not trailed in the Championship yet.

No major early chances at Deepdale.

  16. Postpublished at 12:35 BST

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Millwall have won the toss and have elected to turn Charlton around so the visitors are kicking towards their own fans in the first-half.

In the opening stages, Millwall's Aidomo Emakhu looks to play in Josh Coburn but his through ball is overhit and runs through to the keeper.

Soon after, at the other end, Sonny Carey lets fire with his left foot but his shot is well blocked by some scrambling Millwall defending.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:34 BST

    Oxford United 0-0 Leicester

Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu have a run each at the Oxford defence who are forced to concede a corner which Michal Helik clears away.

A lot of early possession for the visitors.

Filip Krastev is sent crashing to the ground by Boubakary Soumare and the Leicester man collects an early caution.

  18. 'This game means more'published at 12:32 BST

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

    Dean Kiely
Former Charlton Athletic goalkeeper on BBC Radio London

All these players wearing their club colours deserve to be there today, they're all Championship players.

    This game means more.

  20. Philogene fantastic as Blades batteredpublished at 12:26 BST

    FT: Ipswich 5-0 Sheff Utd

    Jaden PhilogeneImage source, Rex Features

The EFL weekend got under way on Friday night with Ipswich's thumping win over lowly Sheffield United.

The Blues, without a league win at home in 2025, dismantled the Blades, who have now lost all six of their games in league and cup this campaign.

Jaden Philogene grabbed a first-ever senior hat-trick and George Hirst and Jack Clarke also got themselves on the scoresheet on a chastening night for United.

There are now serious questions over whether boss Ruben Selles will still be in charge for their home game against Charlton next Saturday.
