This will be the first ever competitive meeting between Leeds United and Harrogate Town, with the Whites only progressing from one of their last five FA Cup ties against sides from England’s fourth tier.
Leeds United have progressed from four of their last five FA Cup ties against fellow Yorkshire sides, with their latest witnessing the Whites beat Rotherham United 2-0 at Elland Road in January 2016.
Harrogate Town have only ever reached the FA Cup third round once before in club history, losing 4-0 to Luton Town in January 2022.
Leeds are unbeaten across their last five home FA Cup games (W3 D2), since a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in a third round replay in 2011.
Harrogate have kept a clean sheet in each of their FA Cup games this season winning both 1-0 against Wrexham in round one and Gainsborough Trinity in round two. The Sulphurites have never kept three clean sheets in succession in the competition proper.
