Match Facts
This will be just the second meeting between Birmingham City and Lincoln City in the FA Cup with the Blues winning 2-1 at St Andrew’s in a third round tie in 1969.
Birmingham are unbeaten in their last 18 meetings with Lincoln in all competitions (W12 D6) since a 1-0 loss in April 1911. It’s their longest unbeaten run against any opponent in their history.
Birmingham City have progressed from the FA Cup third round in each of the last two seasons, last doing so in three consecutive campaigns between 2009-10 and 2011-12.
Lincoln City have progressed from just five of their 34 FA Cup third round ties in club history, last achieving that feat in 2017 when they defeated Ipswich Town in a reply as a non-league side.
Lincoln have scored four goals in both of their FA Cup matches so far this season, having netted 4+ goals in just two of their previous 53 in the competition proper.
