Finally, we have resumed at Ashton Gate.

    Brentford v Plymouth (15:00 GMT)

    Ian Dennis
BBC Radio 5 Live senior football reporter

Rico Henry will start today, but he will not play the full 90. Henry has been ruled out for 493 days due to injury.

  3. 'Absolute quality' from Alexander-Arnoldpublished at 13:02 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool 2-0 Accrington Stanley

    Marc Albrighton
Former Leicester midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

That's just absolute quality. Trent Alexander-Arnold just whips it into the far corner.

What a moment for him. The manager has put him in as one of the most senior players and he has repaid him there.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:02 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool 2-0 Accrington Stanley

Liverpool well on top with two very good goals separating the sides at the break.

Tom:Craig @ 12:53 Firmino was one of the most intelligent footballers going. Nunez is… kindly put… the opposite.

RH:Craig's Nunez-Firmino comparison is way off. One played as a false 9 and tended to create chances but could finish. One is a 9 who misses more than he scores.

  6. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:01 Greenwich Mean Time

We are under way again in Birmingham and Middlesbrough.

Things are a bit behind schedule in Bristol though - the hosts haven't even left the warm dressing rooms yet.

  7. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 2-0 Accrington Stanleypublished at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time

    Trent Alexander-Arnold (45 mins)

    Half-time champagne for Trent Alexander-Arnold!

Goodness me what a goal, he picks the ball up on the edge of the area, takes one touch and then whips a dipping, curling shot across goal and right into the top corner.

There's a lot of focus on what he maybe can't do. But not many can do that...

Half-time milk for the Accrington Players?

    Tim, London

  9. Postpublished at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool 1-0 Accrington Stanley

Accrington have had a few dangerous looking breaks in tihs half and the latest is ended by a great covering tackle by Harvey Elliott. That was impressive.

  10. 'Accrington players will tire'published at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool 1-0 Accrington Stanley

    Marc Albrighton
Former Leicester midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

If Liverpool keep moving the ball the way they are, the Accrington players will tire and that's what they're looking for.

I'm old enough to remember the same lack of goals criticism about Firmino.

    Craig

  12. Postpublished at 12:53 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool 1-0 Accrington Stanley

As I said earlier I'd be very surprised if Darwin Nunez went anywhere this month. First of all he's actually a very useful player, and nobody will want to spend the money Liverpool would want - surely?

He's involved in a swift attack that ends with Harvey Elliott scooping a shot tamely at goal.

  13. 'A frantic first half'published at 12:52 Greenwich Mean Time

    HT: Bristol City 1-2 Wolves

    Dave Edwards
Former Wolves Midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It has been a frantic first half.

Wolves look irresistible going forward and Bristol City could have been completely out of the game, they got better in the second half.

Just a thought try Nunez on the wing he’s got the pace and skill Shift Diaz or Gakpo in the middle They’re better at finishing.

    Sunny, Bradford

I wonder if anyone is going to find it within themselves to praise Nunez for that assist? I think not. Yes his finishing can be erratic, but his overall play is more often than not very good. It’s hard for a striker to score consistently when they’re not in the team much.

    Sam, Kent

I feel sorry for Nunez, he does almost everything right but score. What's the betting when he leaves he becomes a goal machine.

    Stew, Brighton

  15. 'Twine lifts it beautifully over the wall'published at 12:50 Greenwich Mean Time

    HT: Bristol City 1-2 Wolves

    Dave Edwards
Former Wolves Midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I said he would fancy it, Scott Twine the dead ball specialist.

He's the one who has got that X Factor. He has got his team back into the game.

Twine lifts it beautifully over the wall. Johnstone can not get anywhere near it.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time

    Bristol City 1-2 Wolves

That Scott Twine masterpiece was the final kick of the first half.

A very different feeling around Ashton Gate now.

  17. Postpublished at 12:48 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool 1-0 Accrington Stanley

    Marc Albrighton
Former Leicester midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

The most disappointing thing from an Accrington point of view is that the goal comes from their free-kick in a dangerous position.

For it to start at this end of the field is disappointing. They'll just be looking to get to half-time now and if it can stay like this it is still not the end of the world.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 12:48 Greenwich Mean Time

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Blackburn

No breakthrough yet. Remember there are no replays any more.

  19. 'So much quality in Liverpool's goal'published at 12:47 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool 1-0 Accrington Stanley

    Marc Albrighton
Former Leicester midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

So much quality going through that goal. They have made it look really simple.

Darwin Nunez makes a great run and then the square ball to Diogo Jota has to be perfect. Absolutely fantastic.

  20. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:47 Greenwich Mean Time

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Blackburn

So close! Harry Leonard is inches away from giving Blackburn the lead with a side-footed volley that slams against the crossbar and away.
