More of the same after the break, this time it's Kane Wilson who takes the long throw for Derby, it's flicked on at the near post again but Swans keeper Lawrence Vigouroux is able to claim the high ball.

Down the other end Ronald's cross had just too much on it for Josh Tymon coming in at the far post.

The U's were bullish in the first half and Siriki Dembele’s strike, coupled with a great save by Jamie Cumming at the other end to stop Tyrese Campbell, has shown more than perhaps some people expected from Oxford United.

Burnley are top of the pile at present, with Sheffield United trailing at Oxford United.

The Blades and Clarets meet at Turf Moor on Easter Monday. It's shaping-up to be one of the biggest second-tier games in recent memory.

After lunchtime losses for West Brom and Coventry, Bristol City's two-goal lead at home to Watford has them into the top six as things stand, behind fifth-placed Boro on goal difference alone.

The Robins host the eighth-placed Baggies on Tuesday night. We'll be here for that, and you should be too!

  10. A nervy opening 45 minutespublished at 15:54 British Summer Time 5 April

    HT: Sheff Wed 0-0 Hull

    John Bennett
    Final Score at Hillsborough

You can feel the nerves here as much as you can feel the heat from the sunshine on a beautiful day in Sheffield.

Wednesday aiming to avoid losing four league home games in a row for the first time since 1972 and there are mis-placed passes and rushed decision making all through their team.

The one bit of quality was a great save by the Wednesday keeper Pierce Charles to deny Hull City’s Kyle Joseph.

Although Wednesday’s Djeidi Gassama is looking dangerous on the flanks.

Both sides desperate for the win for different reasons but there’s a real lack of quality.

  11. 'Not a huge amount in this game'published at 15:52 British Summer Time 5 April

    HT: Oxford 1-0 Sheffield United

    Brian Howard
Former Sheffield United midfielder on BBC Radio Sheffield

The game has gone really scrappy since the goal. Oxford are making it scrappy.

Overall, Sheffield United need to pick the tempo up, move the ball quicker between the lines.

There has not been a huge amount in the game, except for set-pieces.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 5 April

    Millwall 0-0 Portsmouth

Plenty of endeavour, but not a lot of quality.

George Saville fired an effort narrowly wide for the hosts while Colby Bishop saw a volley saved by Lukas Jensen for the visitors.

The hosts have lost Japhet Tanganga to a wrist injury just before the break, which will be a blow for Alex Neil.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 5 April

    Preston 1-0 Stoke

Struggling Stoke are on course for a fifth successive defeat away from home.

Preston, who are unbeaten at Deepdale in the league since 2 November, have the lead at the break thanks to Kaine Kesler-Hayden's first goal for the club.

Nahki Wells and Joe Williams celebrate in front of the Bristol City fansImage source, Rex Features

Two goals in a matter of four minutes from Ross McCrorie and Nakhi Wells have Bristol City heading for the top six at present.

Watford might feel hard done by as they started well but lost the influential Kwadwo Baah to injury while it was 0-0, while the Hornets were adamant Mark Sykes took the ball out of play before teeing-up Wells to fire the second.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 5 April

    QPR 0-0 Cardiff

QPR boss Marti Cifuentes delivers a team talk to his playersImage source, Rex Features

Very little to report from west London.

QPR are dominating the ball, and they've had four shots with two on target.

Cardiff are yet to test Paul Nardi at the other end.

    This one needs a spark!

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 5 April

    Plymouth 2-0 Norwich

Ryan Hardie curls his finish past Norwich keeper Angus GunnImage source, Rex Features

The Championship's bottom club are in full control against Norwich.

It would a tall order, but Ryan Hardie's goals are giving Plymouth hope of a great escape.

Norwich's play-off hopes could be hanging in the balance at Home Park.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 5 April

    Oxford 1-0 Sheff Utd

Oxford players celebrate with goalscorer Siriki DembeleImage source, PA Media

The struggling U's have the lead at the break against the promotion chasers.

Is it going to be one of those days for the Blades? Burnley and Leeds fans will certainly be hoping so.

Oxford four points clear of danger as it stands.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 5 April

    Swansea 0-0 Derby

    Not great.

A couple of half-chances for the visitors, Kane Wilson finding the side-netting, but let's never speak of this half of football again, eh?

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 5 April

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Hull City

Hull's Regan Slater tries to dribble his way into spaceImage source, Rex Features

Not a huge amount doing in this but it has opened up as the half wore on.

Sheffield Wednesday, with the second worst home record in the division, could do with a result to lift spirits after a tough week off the pitch.

Hull City need the points to boost their Championship survival hopes.

  20. Postpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 5 April

    Oxford 1-0 Sheff Utd

Good save from U's goalkeeper Jamie Cumming to keep out a Sydie Peck effort.

You feel like the Yellows are going to need more of that from their gloveman today of they're to get this one over the line.
