  1. CLOSE!published at 15:45 British Summer Time 5 April

    Bristol City 2-0 Watford

City could be out of sight.

Nakhi Wells latches onto a ball over the top from Cam Pring but despite being well placed to get off a shot, he opts to play it to Max Bird.

After a bit of a scramble in the box the ball breaks back to Bird but his curling effort sails past the angle of post and bar.

Norwich City... the gift that just keeps giving. Season cannot end soon enough. Which of course means they will probably win at Burnley next up.

    OTBC

Norwich play fourth-placed Sunderland on Tuesday so the point still stands...

  3. CLOSE!published at 15:43 British Summer Time 5 April

    Swansea 0-0 Derby

Not much to excite the neutral in this one but Derby have had a glimpse of goal.

The Craig Forsyth long-throw to Matt Clarke flicked-header combination works this time but though the ball finds Kane Wilson beyond the back post, he can only lash into the side netting.

  4. Postpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 5 April

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Hull City

Super stop from young Owls goalkeeper Pierce Charles to deny Kyle Joseph after good work from Joao Pedro.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:41 British Summer Time 5 April

    Millwall 0-0 Portsmouth

Lukas Jensen to the rescue for the Lions as a cross is headed clear but only to Colby Bishop whose first-time volley in the box is smartly stopped by the keeper.

  6. 'What a time to score'published at 15:40 British Summer Time 5 April

    Oxford 1-0 Sheffield United

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio Oxford

    Wow, how good was that?

What a great time to score, with 38 minutes gone.

Dembele did well to pick up the scraps, and get on the end of it.

  7. Postpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 5 April

    Millwall 0-0 Portsmouth

Millwall are continuing to probe but Josh Coburn has seen a fierce drive from distance charged-down by Connor Ogilve while appeals for a penalty against Regan Poole for handball in the box as he blocked a cross were waved away.

  8. goal

GOAL: Oxford 1-0 Sheff Utdpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 5 April

    Siriki Dembele (38 mins)

MASSIVE goal at both ends of the Championship!

A long throw is flicked on at the near post and comes to Siriki Dembele at the back stick.

The forward smashes it home for his second goal in three games, having not scored all season prior to that.

Those cheers you can hear are from Burnley and Leeds fans.

Sheffield United have it all to do now if they're to go back to the top of the league.

Lowly Oxford have a precious lead.

  9. Postpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 5 April

    QPR 0-0 Cardiff

Looking at QPR's form and Cardiff's position, perhaps this isn't a surprise.

But quality is lacking at Loftus Road.

  10. Quality in short supplypublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 5 April

    Swansea 0-0 Derby

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Swansea caretaker boss Alan Sheehan predicted that this game would be a "dogfight" and, so far at least, he has been proved absolutely right.

The ball has spent more time in the air than it has on the surface, with plenty of endeavour on show but precious little quality.

At this stage, a set-piece looks the most likely path to an opening goal.

  11. Postpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 5 April

    Preston 1-0 Stoke

Another chance for the away side, another chance for Lewis Baker.

The former Chelsea man can't keep his effort down on this occasion.

  12. 'Confidence building for United'published at 15:33 British Summer Time 5 April

    Oxford 0-0 Sheffield United

    Brian Howard
Former Sheffield United midfielder on BBC Radio Sheffield

Sheffield United are just turning the screw now and you can see the confidence building in their play.

  13. 'Good chance for Sheffield Wednesday'published at 15:33 British Summer Time 5 April

    Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Hull

    Alex Burgess
    Commentator on BBC Radio Humberside

Good chance for Wednesday, as Pol Valentin lost his man well and played a great ball in towards Josh Windass and you have to feel that if the striker got a better contact on that, it would have been a goal.

  14. Postpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 5 April

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Hull City

Josh Windass heads wide from Pol Valentin's cross into the middle.

The Owls are winless in six at home and their play-off bid is all-but over now.

Of course, after this week's off-field issues around the club's players and staff not being paid that seems rather trivial.

  15. Postpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 5 April

    Oxford 0-0 Sheff Utd

Great save in the home goal by Jamie Cumming to stop Tyrese Campbell giving the promotion-chasing away side the lead.

  16. goal

GOAL: Plymouth 2-0 Norwichpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 5 April

    Ryan Hardie (29 mins)

    Make that EIGHT in nine!

Ryan Hardie has added a second five minutes after his first.

He links up well with Mustapha Bundu, whose shot then falls back into Hardie's path!

  17. Postpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 5 April

    Oxford 0-0 Sheff Utd

We're firmly into the 'hoping for favours from other teams' period of the season now.

Leeds fans will be desperate for Oxford to get a result today to stop Sheffield United going back to the top and four points clear of the Whites in third.

Daniel Farke's men drew 1-1 at lowly Luton in of the day's three early second tier matches.

  18. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 2-0 Watfordpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 5 April

    Nakhi Wells (28 mins)

Nahki Wells peels off to celebrate after scoring Bristol City's secondImage source, Rex Features

Daylight for the Robins, who have scored two in four minutes.

Watford are adamant the ball went out of play in the build-up but Mark Sykes carries on down the right touchline and finds Nahki Wells to shift onto his left foot and drill under Egil Selvik's dive to make it goals in back-to-back games.

City are in the top six as things stand.

  19. goal

GOAL: Plymouth 1-0 Norwichpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 5 April

    Ryan Hardie (24 mins)

Ryan Hardie scores the opening goal for PlymouthImage source, Rex Features

    Big. Goal.

Ryan Hardie has scored his seventh goal in his last nine games. Superb control and finish from the forward after a lovely dinked pass from Adam Randell.

Hardie's goals are keeping Argyle hoping!

  20. Postpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 5 April

    Preston 1-0 Stoke

The Potters have responded pretty well to going a goal behind.

Lewis Baker bends a shot just off target as they look to get level.

Mark Robins' men can ill-afford a defeat today as they currently sit above the bottom three by a single point.
