Dreading the East Anglian derby. Do we give Manning our support? I don't see any other option at the moment.

That's a great sight there, every Albion player around the goalkeeper taking him to the home fans, he's saved us tonight.

Albion have defended ever so well after taking the early lead.

It's a great three points, sometimes you have to grind out the results.

    Norwich 0-1 West Brom

Josh Maja celebrates scoringImage source, PA

For the first time in their history Norwich have lost their opening four home league games.

Josh Maja's first-half goal proves the decider but the Canaries pressed hard for an equaliser with Josh Griffiths superbly denying Emiliano Marcondes and Ante Crnac while Jose Cordoba had an effort blocked on the line by Chris Mepham.

The Baggies end a three-game winless streak but the problems are mounting up for Norwich boss Liam Manning with the small matter of an East Anglian derby at Ipswich on Sunday.

    Portsmouth 2-2 Watford

Watford somehow come away with a point with a superb second-half performance after being dominated in the opening 45 minutes.

Yang Min-hyeok gave Pompey a deserved lead but they'll rue not making the game safe with the South Korean having two further opportunities and Marlon Pack seeing an effort saved.

With the Hornets fans chanting 'sacked in the morning' at boss Paulo Pezzolano as he made his way down the tunnel at the break the Uruguayan needed a reaction from his side and got one.

In the space of 11 minutes after the break Imran Louza and Rocco Vata turned the game around only for Adrian Segecic to grab an equaliser.

Vivaldo Semedo almost won it for Watford late on but they'll be thankful for the point.

    Millwall 0-4 Coventry

    Coventry celebrateImage source, PA

Coventry outclass Millwall to soar into the top two.

Haji Wright, Ellis Simms and Kaine Kesler-Hayden all made the scoresheet to give Frank Lampard's side a comfortable win against the only team to beat them since the summer.

Millwall had their own chances but nothing went their way and it never seemed like Coventry were going to see their undefeated Championship season end.

How much further can they go? Judging by this performance, they'll be up there in May.

GOAL: Millwall 0-4 Coventrypublished at 21:35 BST 1 October

    Kaine Kesler-Hayden (87 mins)

Kaine Kesler-Hayden gets on the scoresheet for the first time in a Sky Blue shirt.

He finds the bottom corner and follows it up with some theatrical, acrobatic backflips.

Many of their supporting fans will be feeling capable of doing that on their way home (well, at least metaphorically!). Coventry are flying in the league this season...
