  1. Postpublished at 13:10 British Summer Time 19 October

    Luton 1-0 Watford

Hatters skipper Carlton Morris drives down the left and whips in a low ball to the near post which Ryan Porteous does well to turn past his own upright on the slide.

Alfie Doughty's corner is cleared by the Hornets defence, however.

  2. Postpublished at 13:09 British Summer Time 19 October

    Cardiff 2-0 Plymouth

Rami Al Hajj tests Jak Alnwick from the edge of the box after a mazy run - that's the first save for the Cardiff keeper.

The Swede might have continued his run for a better opening though, in truth.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:08 British Summer Time 19 October

    Luton 1-0 Watford

Watford's Ryan Porteous follows Alfie Doughty into the book seconds after the restart after another sliding challenge.

    Bitty stuff at present.

  4. Postpublished at 13:08 British Summer Time 19 October

    Oxford 0-1 West Brom

Free-kick for West Brom just outside the Oxford box.

Karlan Grant fancies it - why not given he's already on the scoresheet?

Erm, maybe not Karlan - he hits the Oxford wall.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:07 British Summer Time 19 October

    Luton 1-0 Watford

Alfie Doughty has his name taken after flying into a sliding tackle on Watford's Edo Kayembe on halfway.

He can't believe it. Everyone else can. It's been all blood and thunder but that one breached the threshold, even in a derby.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:06 British Summer Time 19 October

    Preston 0-0 Coventry

Oliver Dovin keeping his side in it at Preston!

Another fine stop from the Coventry number one to keep out a rasping drive from Emil Riis.

Another lovely move from the hosts, Paul Heckingbottom's side have linked up well this afternoon.

  7. CLOSE!published at 13:05 British Summer Time 19 October

    Oxford 0-1 West Brom

    Could be, should be 1-1.

Ciaron Brown rises unchallenged to meet an Oxford corner but his header flies over.

  8. CLOSE!published at 13:02 British Summer Time 19 October

    Cardiff 2-0 Plymouth

Dimitris Goutas rises highest to meet Calum Chambers cross from the right for Cardiff but can only steer his header over the bar from eight yards.

Everything right except the timing of his leap.

It's all Cardiff in the past 20 minutes.

  9. goal

GOAL Oxford 0-1 West Brompublished at 13:01 British Summer Time 19 October

    Karlan Grant (29 mins)

Remember we mentioned he was looking lively today?

Well Karlan Grant has a goal to add to it now.

He drifts in from the left and when the ball finds him on the edge of the box he shoots accurately beyond Jamie Cumming - it's his second goal of the season.

  10. ouch!

Postpublished at 13:01 British Summer Time 19 October

    Luton 1-0 Watford

Nasty bump of heads in the Luton area as Tom Holmes and Mattie Pollock compete for a bouncing ball on the byline.

Stoppage in play allows both managers to get some messages across.

  11. 'You need to win the first ball'published at 12:59 British Summer Time 19 October

    Luton 1-0 Watford

    Derek Payne
Former Watford midfielder on BBC Three Counties Radio

Watford need to be better on the second ball.

You learn it when you're young, you need to win the first ball.

At the moment, Watford are second best and not stopping the crosses.

  12. CLOSE!published at 12:58 British Summer Time 19 October

    Preston 0-0 Coventry

Preston in full flow again and it's Robbie Brady in the thick of it once more.

A neat move ends with a smart one-two between Brady and Mads Frøkjær-Jensen, before the former lashes a left foot shot wide of Oliver Dovin's far post.

  13. Postpublished at 12:57 British Summer Time 19 October

    Oxford 0-0 West Brom

  15. goal

GOAL Cardiff 2-0 Plymouthpublished at 12:55 British Summer Time 19 October

    Rubin Colwill (24 mins)

    Guess who?

Callum O'Dowda swings in a cross from the left which the Argyle defence can only half clear.

Rubin Colwill brings the ball down with a neat touch inside his marker with his right foot, prods himself a yard of space with his left to take the blocker out of the way and then guides the ball with his instep into the far corner past Dan Grimshaw.

Most players would have blasted that. Absolute class, that finish.

Plymouth are shell-shocked as Cardiff buzz with confidence.

  16. Postpublished at 12:54 British Summer Time 19 October

    Cardiff 1-0 Plymouth

It's Rubin Colwill again. Full of confidence, this lad. He picks up the ball in space on halfway and glides forward, socks round his ankles like a throwback, and opts to try his luck with a powerful curling strike from fully 25 yards which flies over the angle of post and bar.

The 22-year-old is going to be some player. Remember the name! (And how to spell it!)

  17. CLOSE!published at 12:52 British Summer Time 19 October

    Luton 1-0 Watford

Another Alfie Doughty corner, this time from the right, causes havoc in the Hornets box and the ball breaks to Tahith Chong who can only lash over the bar from 16 yards.

A good chance, that, despite the crowd infront of him. Luton on top.

The sun is out at Kenilworth Road - they were only sweeping water off the pitch two hours ago.

  18. 'Colwill's potential undoubted'published at 12:52 British Summer Time 19 October

    Cardiff 1-0 Plymouth

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

Few players get the Cardiff fans as excited as Rubin Colwill, and the young Wales playmaker has had the home crowd on their feet several times already today.

He's been on a few mazy runs, created chances for his team-mates and set up Alex Robertson's excellent opening goal - all in the opening 20 minutes.

Colwill's potential is undoubted. Could a consistent run of games help Cardiff unlock all that promise?

  19. Postpublished at 12:51 British Summer Time 19 October

    Oxford 0-0 West Brom

Concerns here for Oxford as Mark Harris is now down injured...

He hobbles off but a quick adjustment of the shin pads and he returns to the fray.

  20. 'Luton winning physical battle'published at 12:51 British Summer Time 19 October

    Luton 1-0 Watford

    Geoff Doyle
Luton commentator on BBC Three Counties Radio
