  1. goal

GOAL Cardiff 1-0 Plymouthpublished at 12:48 British Summer Time

    Alex Robertson (16 mins)

    What a goal this is.

Rubin Colwill jinks into the area but opts to cut back to the lurking Alex Robertson a couple of yards outside the box.

He picks his spot and curls a delicious curling shot across the diving Dan Grimshaw and into the far top corner to send the home fans wild.

Omer Riza's claim for the Bluebirds job grows ever stronger.

Just the second goal at home this season and the fifth of the campaign.

  2. Postpublished at 12:47 British Summer Time

    Cardiff 0-0 Plymouth

It's Argyle who have grown into this one, bossing possession and penning the hosts back, but after Ibrahim Cissoko is dispossessed on the edge of the City area, Cardiff spring forward and Anwar El Ghazi has a shot blocked in the area on the break before looping the rebound straight to Dan Grimshaw in the Argyle goal.

  3. CLOSE!published at 12:46 British Summer Time

    Preston 0-0 Coventry

Maybe not one Emil Riis will want to see again.

Preston keep the ball in play down the right, and Ryan Ledson's cross finds the striker unmarked at the back post, but he can only head down into the ground and over.

A fine chance. You will be enjoying this one as a home fan, so far.

  4. Postpublished at 12:45 British Summer Time

    Oxford 0-0 West Brom

Karlan Grant cuts in from the left for West Brom but his attempted cutback is toed away by the Oxford defence.

Grant is one of two changes made to the Baggies' starting line-up by Carlos Corberan and he's looking lively.

  5. 'Fantastic from Luton'published at 12:44 British Summer Time

    Luton 1-0 Watford

    Leon Barnett
Former Luton defender on BBC Three Counties Radio

    Fantastic start for them.

Fantastic from Luton to get the first goal, their set plays have been strong.

Doughty actually changed his boots before that corner, clearly it worked, Clarke meets it from about six yards out after Holmes volley hits his leg.

  6. CLOSE!published at 12:44 British Summer Time

    Cardiff 0-0 Plymouth

Sight of goal for Plymouth and Michael Obafemi who can only skew a shot across goal and past the far post when well placed in the left of the City area.

    A let-off for the hosts.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:42 British Summer Time

    Preston 0-0 Coventry

Goalkeeping is not all about using your hands!

A nifty bit of footwork from Sky Blues stopper Oliver Dovin, who makes a fine stop to keep out Emil Riis' powerful low effort from the right hand side.

From the resulting corner, the hosts head over and Coventry can breathe again.

  8. goal

GOAL Luton 1-0 Watfordpublished at 12:41 British Summer Time

    Jordan Clark (11 mins)

    The Hatters strike first.

An Alfie Doughty corner from the left is met by Tom Holmes whose volley bounces off the leg of Jordan Clark and into the corner past the dive of Daniel Bachmann.

Not a thing of beauty but the home fans are in rapture.

Rob Edwards allows himself a smile.

  9. Postpublished at 12:41 British Summer Time

    Oxford 0-0 West Brom

A first clear sight of goal comes for Oxford.

A ball over the top picks out Mark Harris but a heavy second touch narrows the angle and Palmer blocks in the West Brom goal.

From the resulting corner Palmer has to drop on a loose ball as Elliott Moore can't make a good contact at the far post.

  10. Postpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time

    Cardiff 0-0 Plymouth

It's the hosts who have enjoyed the better of the opening stages with Rubin Colwill at the heart of most of the Bluebirds best stuff.

There were muted appeals for a penalty amid a scramble but the referee awarded Argyle a free-kick allowing the visitors to ease some pressure.

Plymouth boss Wayne Rooney is watching the match from the stands after receiving a one-match ban on Friday.

  11. Postpublished at 12:38 British Summer Time

    Cardiff 0-0 Plymouth

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

Plymouth have brought the biggest and loudest contingent of away fans to Cardiff City Stadium this season.

Around 3,000 have made the journey from Devon to south Wales and they're making themselves heard.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:38 British Summer Time

    Luton 0-0 Watford

Watford's Vakoun Bayo picks up an early caution for dissent after insisting he was pulled back in midfield.

I'm telling you now that's not the last time we'll see Stephen Martin reaching for his pocket today.

From the Luton free-kick Reece Burke warms the palms of Daniel Bachmann with an angled drive at his near post.

All-action stuff, but the corner comes to nought.

  13. 'People expected Luton to bounce right back'published at 12:37 British Summer Time

    Luton 0-0 Watford

    Derek Payne
Former Watford midfielder on BBC Three Counties Radio

The team in form coming into this is Watford.

If they can keep it nice and tight in the first 15 minutes I can see them winning it in the second half.

People expected Luton to bounce right back, but it hasn't gone that way just yet.

  14. Postpublished at 12:37 British Summer Time

    Preston 0-0 Coventry

The home side seeing a lot of the ball early on, but it's Coventry that force the first real moment of panic.

Youngster Caen Bassette breaks with pace over the halfway line, and Preston captain Ryan Ledson has to chop the Sky Blues forward down.

The home skipper gets a booking for his troubles.

  15. Postpublished at 12:35 British Summer Time

    Oxford 0-0 West Brom

Oxford have made the best start of the three sides promoted from League One at the end of last season.

That's not bad going when you consider they were nearly a month behind Derby and Portsmouth in terms of preparation due to them being involved in the play-offs.

  16. CLOSE!published at 12:35 British Summer Time

    Luton 0-0 Watford

Feisty old start at Kenilworth Road with plenty of jostling from an early Alfie Doughty free-kick into the Watford area.

At the other end Tom Holmes comes OH SO CLOSE to opening the scoring with an incredible own goal, his 40-yard backpass is sliced into the air, loops over Thomas Kaminski but bounces inches past the upright.

Nervous stuff on his full debut. The keeper chose not to handle it in fear of conceding an indirect free-kick but it might have been so much worse.

Tom Cleverley has also made three changes from the Watford side which beat Middlesbrough last time out.

Oxford boss Des Buckingham makes two changes to his side from the one which drew 1-1 at Portsmouth last time out.

Elliott Moore and Siriki Dembele come in for Sam Long and Kyle Edwards.

Long is on the bench but Edwards has a slight injury which means he sits this one out.

West Brom also make two changes.

Karlan Grant and Uros Racic get starting berths at the expense of Jayson Molumby and Mikey Johnston who both drop to the bench.
