    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

We've not seen much of Florian Wirtz in this second half and that is down to the change in tactics from Liverpool - they are playing much higher and are closing down the space in the midfield areas.

Two chances in quick time for Liverpool, looking to wrap this one up. Alexis Mac Allister tries to place one into the bottom corner, but Lukas Hradecky does well to get down to it and get a hand to it. It then falls to Trent Alexander-Arnold but he sends the rebound into the stands.

    Sporting 3-1 Man City

    Whatever next?!

There was quite a long wait between the ball being placed on the penalty spot and Erling Haaland stepping up to take it with the referee having a word with both the Manchester City striker and the goalkeeper and a bit more faffing around.

You just wonder if Haaland felt a bit unsettled waiting to take it with the pressure on.

  15. Postpublished at 21:28 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

This one might not be done and dusted yet. Victor Boniface gets free and maybe should do better with his header, but sends it wide. A warning for Liverpool though.

  16. Vlahovic levels for Juve, Mbappe misses sitterpublished at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

Lille 1-1 Juventus, Real Madrid 1-2 AC Milan

It's all square in France as Dusan Vlahovic levels for Juventus against Lille from the spot. It's all to play for.

Oh, Kylian. He won't want to see that one again. The goals have dried up for Mbappe of late but he should have pulled Real Madrid back level there.

How many times have we seen the Norwegian strike in that same way and slams into the roof of the net?! Incredible stuff.

    Not City's night?

Very easy to get handball penalties in the Champions League, even when the ball bounces off other body parts. A rare point where the Premier League is better.

Surely Curtis Jones has to get an opportunity to play for England in the next international break. He's been outstanding in Liverpool's midfield in the last few weeks.
