Curtis Main's early goal set up Dundee for a rampant win
Curtis Main grabbed a hat-trick as Dundee swept aside hosts Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic in their Scottish League Cup Group D opener.
The striker scored twice in the first half either side of goals from centre-half Antonio Portales and midfielder Lyall Cameron.
Defender Ryan Astley and Cameron added to the scoreline after the break and home striker Smart Osadolor reduced the arrears briefly before Main completed the seven-goal rout.
In the group's other game, Annan Athletic beat visiting League 1 rivals Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1-0.
